The NAACP has officially endorsed same sex marriage.

Have to wonder if their membership roles will drop or if donations will.  This is just further proof that they are shills for the DemonRats and not actually concerned  about what blacks want and need.

This is what I was thinking as well. I guess they have the thought that they should support Obama, no matter what he says or does; even if it means supporting gay marriage. The largest demographics against it in this country are the blacks. It makes you wonder, huh?

It's kind of like the unions in a way.  The leadership spends the members money to support DemonRats, but many union members vote the other way.

Yeah, which is a reason I will never join a union. That is the thing that makes this bad is they say this stuff and it gives the whole group a bad name. They never think about that stuff before opening their mouths.

I work in one of the most anti-union , union shops that you'll ever see.   We've even been told by management that we can NOT vote to de-certify the union, because we are one part of his business and is tied to closely to another heavily union influenced business.

Obama and his racist buddies in the Democratic party will stir up the race issue at all costs. The NAACP knows he can not run on the economy, jobs, debt,, etc so they are going to try to muddy up the waters with this kind of bullshit. Romney needs to stay on message and not get sucked into these type of issues. Reporters that want to dwell on this issue could be handled by stating that gay marriage was defeated in CA where the overwhelming number of blacks voted against it. Stay on the offense and quit apologizing for stuff that happened years ago. That is just retarded. An apologist will not beat Obama; McCain found that out.

That is good. Unions aren't as good as people make them out to be. They just take your money and don't do anything for you. Plus they can at times cripple a company; ie, GM.

That is exactly what it is, Lacarnut. They are doing whatever they can to distract from his record. I was talking to a liberal friend of mine today and he was trying to tell me that the social issues are just as important as the other issues. I asked him how a social issue like promoting gay marriage will lower the deficit or create jobs? He just answered me with the normal liberal reply; he called me a homophobe and said that I just hate Obama and want to see him fail. It was at that point I just walked away.
