This has been considered before on other issues.
During the height of the occupation, our old home built a special forum for discussion of the occupiers--I'm not sure how it's gone, in terms of traffic and interest, though--and we briefly contemplated that, given that during the short time the occupiers occupied the news, interest was pretty intense.
But then we decided to throw all non-DUmpster occupy antics into "Mind-Numbing Stupidity," which covers antics of primitives outside those of Skins's island.....a decision that in hindsight seems warranted, as the occupiers have since bored everybody to death.
It was suggested during Operation Omaha Steve that a sub-forum be set up, so as to enable members and visitors from the Omaha metropolitan area to find the big guy's stuff immediately. This too was thumbs-downed, because it was anticipated the big guy's travails would be a flash in the pan. Again, hindsight proved us correct.
It's a hassle to set up sub-forums.....and then they continue to still exist long after they're dead; I give you the case of where, when conservativecave was still new, it was thought a good idea to have a special sub-forum for democraticwarrior.com. For about three days, it was hit, and then it died. And unfortunately the corpse was long-ago rotted and decayed to dust, before we got rid of that sub-forum.
