Certain male DUers are all too comfortable pretending that only three women on this site are anti-porn. Due to the fact that they have so far gotten away with mocking and smearing anyone who disagrees with them, their attacks have stepped up, especially in the Men's Group.

Posting unflattering pictures of Andrea Dworkin and mischaracterizing anti-porn arguments as religious or prudish in nature does not advance any argument. Have we really not had enough of this childish, disruptive behavior aimed at DUers?

OMG! I thought they had just made up a name DWORKINITE as a slam at feminazi's hatred or dorks, dicks, cocks, etc... I never new there was a person named Dwork. YOU KNOW SHE WAS THE BUTT OF TEASING AS A KID!

Frankly, I don't know much about Andrea Dworkin, but using her name to insult or attack DUers is wrong. It's just as wrong as calling someone a "feminazi." ooops.When I'm on a jury that has to rule on such a thing, I'll vote to hide every time. Attacks and personal insults against individual DUers or groups of DUers are rude and not in keeping with my view of DU's community standards.

All I have is one vote on whatever jury I'm called to be on. But, I'll always vote against personal attack, no matter what kind those attacks might be. It's the intent that matters. If the intent is to attack, then it is an attack, whether I know the details of the attack or not. And calling someone a "radfem Dworkinite" clearly has the intent to attack. And that's where I stand.

She believes that the act of heterosexual sex itself demeans women, and relegates them permanently to 2nd class status. Regardless if one believes in a divine power, Godless evolution, or something somewhere in-between - One cannot deny that belittling the very thing that allows nearly all species to survive can only indicate a badly deformed perception of life itself.

She isn't a hero to women, she is a hater of all sexual species. Frankly, Dworkin should just join the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement and be done with it.
