Also turns out Trayvon was a belligerent asshole high on dope who assaulted a man, and that man likely defended himself with deadly force.

Also so happens that 0bama was forced into declaring support for gay marriage by his chuckleheaded VP, and instead of making it a declaration worthy of a President, he went on TV with a lickspittle reporter.

Also "Rev" Wright is coming back around, and we know how much that asshole likes the sound of his own voice.

The "recovery" is also stalling and people are giving up their job hunts altogether.

While he may be a citizen that doesn't mean there aren't questions. Did you read the Breitbart article? When they were pimping an earlier book of 0bama's the little brochure they sent around described him as being born in Kenya. If it's the truth, then he's not qualified according to the constitution. If it's a lie then I have to wonder why they lied back then.

Personally, I'd like to know why he's had more than one SS card and why the one he's using now is from CT. Maybe there are logical explanations for them but I'd like to know. I've only had one SS number in my entire life and the numbers are those assigned to people born in CA like myself. While I didn't need one from birth like my children did, I had to get one when I got my first job. I was living & working in OR then but my SS number still reflects my birth state so the fact that 0bama was living in CT or where ever isn't valid.

I'd like to see his college transcripts and some of his writings from when he was editor of the Harvard Law Review. Were he to get a job in the private sector, he'd be expected to show his transcripts, especially if he wanted to be a teacher or a lawyer. I'd like to know why he's so secretive with things every other modern president has openly shared.

Congress & the press made a big deal about checking into whether McCain was born in this country, why wasn't the same scrutiny given to 0bama? There's not a damn thing wrong with asking these questions. We're electing the leader of the free world and after one term we still know less about him than we do about the average star on the high school basketball team. And the fact that our side doesn't care and isn't interested in knowing who this guy is should disgust every one of us.

Whether all this speculation is true or not it is the result of him not being vetted and his refusal to share basic records like college transcripts. It's only late in the game if we allow something similar to happen again. I think openness and a complete, provable record of the person who wants to be president isn't asking too much.

In defense of assholes I take umbrage at your sig photo.  Assholes are both useful and necessary, working when relaxed.  Can you make that same claim for Obiewun?    Assholes deserve respect for the work they do not derision by comparison to a useless appendage of the American Progressive movement (ah a movement, now I get the comparison).  Never mind.

What it boils down to is Obama is an opportunist who engineered his persona to be all things to all people all of the time. Now, that technique might work in small circles, where people who are interested in Obama are already looking at him favorably - but as POTUS, he has also been vetted by those who dislike him - and that's where the illusion begins to unravel.

Well, we'll just have to disagree. It matters because it shows people that voting for the cool guy that you know nothing about is just damn stupid and the more informed the electorate is the more 0bama will go down in a landslide. FWIW, I think he was born in HI and I have no idea why he feels compelled to hide it. But I do think he probably used the foreign student thing to get scholarships and other perks because he was "black" and from another country. The man has the scruples of Johnson & Nixon combined but with less brains than Jimmy Carter, the arrogance Agamemnon (at least he really was a king) and the greed of Barabas. Well, except that Barabas didn't think he was the Messiah.

I think what scares me the most about all of this is when he is voted out of office in November (I'm confident he will be), what will he and his people do between November 7th and January 20th?
