OS - where do we go from here?
« on: May 17, 2012, 04:46:53 AM »
With regard to 2012 DOTY, I do believe that Steve will yet once again miss the mark as he his stalling out in May.   He may not even make the top three (unless some delicious campaign funds abuse comes to light).    This is of course a shame.   Always a bridesmaid eh big guy?

The field is wide open now to any misfit (Nads the perennial frontrunner) so hopefully we see some wall flowers take center stage soon.   I would like to see someone other than Nads take top prize this year, but that is just me.

Back to Steve - the postscript on this sham of a campaign is one that was too predictable.   I think our DU historians may not report favorably on this time period as I think Frank accurately predicted every single misstep that OS ended up making.   That's boring stuff when you think about it.    Yeah, I am now more than convinced he is not making the top 3 this year.    :bawl:

I think Steve could easily make the top three DOTY for 2012. He made for a spectacular five month flame-out with his run for office. Nads is just looking insane anymore.

We put Steve in the center ring of a three ring circus and he got crushed by the Elephant.

I'm not God, and so can't tell the future six and a half months from now, but I suspect the big guy has a chance--however, we're not into the hot fiery summer and presidential campaign yet, and so I equally suspect there's lots more to come, from any and all the primitives, which might outdo the big guy for 2012.

This could very well turn out the most exciting year, ever, in the DUmpster.

At the beginning of the year, I had thought 2012 would be the year of the 0bamaite primitives and the dork, the "MrScorpio" primitive, but they haven't even come into the ring yet, to strut their stuff.

However, they still might.

I think you and some others also accurately predicted every misstep that the big guy made; it comes from our intimacy with the primitives, knowing so well how they're going to react, what they're going to say, what they're going to do, long before an event or a person happens.

It's eerily almost as if the primitives have been "trained."

The appearence of the great, omnipotent Nads has been sparse as of late.  When the loud round mound does appear, she's promptly
whacked and flogged like a rented mule. Her comments are somewhat "lacking" in the special spark she once had.
Her crunchy news has the consistency of milk soaked cornflakes.  Although her comments are still fractured and lame, her
train of thought, has lost its caboose.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

By the way, the afterglow of Operation Omaha Steve is fading now, but we need one last final spark.

Has the big guy been on Skins's island the past two days?

I haven't garnered up the energy to drag out the boat and row over to Skins's island to see for myself yet.

Maybe later today.

Going to take some industrial strength rendering to melt those two down.  :lmao:

Well, in the wake of the big guy's campaign, it looks as if the iverglas primitive's coming to the forefront--at least for now--and it's long past time.

The iverglas primitive should've been a top DUmmie years ago, but never has.

I think it's going to be someone who totally takes us by surprise.  There's no way Neckbeard and the Alopecia Queen can maintain this level for six or seven more months without some sort of epic flameout.  I want to see who's "up and coming" right about convention time, when the 2012 campaign really gets rolling.

My thoughts, too; it'll be an unanticipated primitive, and it'll happen this summer.

No one has shown even a glimmer of competition for the crazy bald dwarf in the 2012 DOTY sweepstakes.

We've had some good threads on the big sweaty neckbeard, but his contributions have been really sparse.

Nearly all the entertaining material originated from decent and civilized people.

He rarely does anything beyond C&P, like the braindead California idiot Kathleen Peterson.

Socialist Steve is just too dismally stupid to contend.

A DOTY has to be hugely, stunningly stupid, yet clever enough to sustain weird, or offensive, or otherwise deranged storylines.

Nutcase nadin, the crazy bald dwarf, can do that in her sleep.

DUmmy Dawes started a nice storyline with his ridiculous candidacy, then just let it wither on the vine.

No doubt coach. Aside from iverglas, there a few other contenders I think are just warming up. The home team taking their batting practice if you will. I hesitate to name any primitives as to prematurely and undeservingly put their name up in bright lights. Ah hell, my underdogs coming off the second turn with six furlongs to go are the douche bag Sir Magistrate, Creekdog, and Ban the GOP.

The Creekdog primitive always seems to start shit, then gets pissed when it's alerted on and gets :hammer: by the jury. Of course, H&M whining then ensues.

Careful about TMI, sir; you don't want to give the MIRTers on Skins's island too much information.

I'm of a mindset that we won't really have a frontrunner until after we send The "Bummer" back to Chicago to help Ayers make bombs in November.

Stevie won't even be in the top 20 IMHO. He doesn't have much luck in elections I'm thinkin'!

I don't wish to be a downer, but I don't think that we're in for a vintage year with the DotY.

Dissent is being pushed further and further to the sidelines, more and more bannings will happen over the summer and the rest will have to learn to stay quiet before the election. It's basically not that funny to spend the entire time being rude about Gov. Romney, and that's what will be attracting most of their attention.

I'm burned out on Omaha Steve. If he campaigns for DoTY, I will ignore him. If he is a finalist, I will not vote for him.

I agree with Ralph that the Jury System should win the DoTY this year. Maybe Elad since he claimed to have invented it.

I think that Obamaha Steve is so shell-shocked right now, he wouldn't even run for the toilet if he had the craps.  :rotf:
