I thought so, too. Just think what he could have "fixed" if Bush hadn't been in his way.
I fear to think what Barry will "fix" in the next 4 years if he gets re-elected.
As I have been out of nursing for many years I wonder about this horrid story.
At NO place I worked were the pay by self and the people on assistance EVER treated differently.
The last few years we hear of big city hospitals putting people onto the streets as soon as they are for the moment stabilised. Seen videos of patients in agony waiting for help in the ER to die and left laying on the floor, on lookers so up set they call 911 to be told there was nothing to be done to help that person as they were already in a hospital.
Here we have a young man/woman that gave up their life to help a mother that was way beyond their ability in knowledge or training to help.
No job, no friends except for the writer of the post, isolating themselves from the world to care for a demented mother. Question here, who was more demented the ageing Mom or the child that finally killed her???
Choises have to be made in life for good or bad, to blame government or the mail man for a bad choice is to place the responcibility of a bad choice on others.
Where is the responcibility of the poster in this drama, to watch for years a so called friend destroy their life and that of his mother's?? Mother would be alive in a nursing home had her child made another choice. The child would then have had to get a job, meet people and face life head on.
I call BS on this post, one cannot control the actions of another but one can help them by giving them imformation about help out there and then it is up to the friend to act on the imformation or not. One cannot force a friend to do anything they do not want do, but when one sees the boat is sinking throw them a life ring at the very least, if the friend ignores the ring, then that is to be respected as their choice and not blame anyone but the friend for their fate.
