"You, on the other hand, are a drug-addicted deadbeat dad who can't hold a job, and your wife and children do not, cannot, and will not ever
respect you. You troll DU for women because you're too strung out to find a woman the old fashioned way."
Huh.
I knew Taverner (Or as I call him, the Drunken DUchebag) was a moron, a heartless jerk, and a hate- filled Christophobic bigot, and kind of figured he was a druggie (Mainly because most DUmmies are) but I didn't know that about his family. What a scumbag.
Guess I learn something new every day here!
I was a little off on my spice recollection...
"A Few Good Men"
Oregano !
I'm reminded of an episode of the pretty good sitcom 'Grounded for Life.'
The father, Sean (Donal Logue), used to do pot when he was younger, and up until the episode took place, he had one last small baggie of it left hidden in his closet that his shifty brother Eddie (One of the funnier characters on the show) had sold to him as a teen, I think he kept it just for sentimental value or something. Then, Sean's teenage daughter Lily unwittingly finds it somehow, and brings it to a party she's going to. Sean is understandably furious when he discovers she's done this, but Eddie assures him not to worry, that it was never actually pot in the bag at all; It was oregano that Eddie had swiped from a job he had had at a pizzeria. We then see Lily and her friends at the party, having smoked it, thinking it was pot and laughing hysterically as if it had been pot. A couple of them say something like, "I think I have the munchies!" "Yeah, I think I'm jonesing for some pizza!" Later, Eddie's teasing Lily about it, and says something like, "If you want, I can get you a deal on some premium basil!"
I miss that show. It was one of the few sitcoms that got better as it went on in seasons, rather than getting worse.
