WASHINGTON (AP) — Betty White says she usually keeps her political views private but in this presidential election strongly favors one candidate.

As she prepares to visit the Smithsonian Institution and National Zoo next week, White told The Associated Press she "very, very much favors" President Barack Obama in the election.

The 90-year-old actress said Friday she is very bi-partisan and has stayed away from politics all of her life. She usually never says who she is for or against because she doesn't want to turn off any of her adoring fans.

White says in this year's election, she likes what Obama has done and "how he represents us."

..One can expect damn near 100% of Hollyweird to go for Obama in a big, public way. I also expect a redo of the 'Obama Pledge' to hit the airwaves as well.

Of course, OWS won't see the irony of 'The 1%' voting Obama, but hey - nobody said they were smart, right ?

Where are the occupoopers?

The only news is homos and bullies.

No occupoopers, no unemployment, no real estate collapse in the news, nothing but homos and bullies.

Unemployment and the real estate depression are still in full swing, but occupoopers seem to have vanished.

I think the homos shold start their own occupooper movement.

Their signs could say "We Are The 2%."

The one thing(well there are a few) that pisses me off about famous people, are that they are rich. They don't have to struggle to put food on the table, or the price of gas.. :mad: :mad:

I'd imgine the network executives threatened to fire her from every show she's currently working on if she didn't openly endorse Obama. It's how Hollywood works.
Kelsey Grammer has mentioned that once, early in his career, he was told that the only way he could keep a TV role he had was by making a huge donation to Barbara Boxer's Senate campaign. He made the donation to keep his job, but has since expressed deep regret over it.
