Warren's Cherokee Claim is falling apart

Warren's Cherokee Claim Based on Family Newsletter; No Marriage License Application to Be Found

The slender thread upon which Elizabeth Warren’s claim that she is 1/32 Cherokee rests—a purported 1894 marriage license application—has been exposed as non-existent. Based on a review of the original marriage records found in the files of the Logan County, Oklahoma Court Clerk’s office in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and the statements of ReJeania Zmek, the Court Clerk of Logan County, Oklahoma, it is likely that the ephemeral 1894 marriage license application never existed.

The DNC is NOT going to be pleased Elizabeth.   Tsk tsk tsk.

Poor Elizabeth. A simple lie cost her a senate seat. And it will remove any chance of gaining a position on a cabinet, or even a DNC position as well.

One would think this would serve as a lesson for DUmmies and other Liberals, but alas no. Liberals depend on lies to get elected. Lies are a fundamental part of being a liberal. No such lesson will ever be learned.

Article in Fordham Law Review Described Elizabeth Warren as Harvard's "First Woman of Color"

Very light pink is a color, I guess.

The writer got this idea from the news director at Harvard Law.

Hm. What made him think that?

Elizabeth Warren has pushed back hard on questions about a Harvard Crimson piece in 1996 that described her as Native American, saying she had no idea the school where she taught law was billing her that way and saying it never came up during her hiring a year earlier, which others have backed up.

But a 1997 Fordham Law Review piece described her as Harvard Law School's "first woman of color," based, according to the notes at the bottom of the story, on a "telephone interview with Michael Chmura, News Director, Harvard Law (Aug. 6, 1996)."

The mention was in the middle of a lengthy and heavily-annotated Fordham piece on diversity and affirmative action and women. The title of the piece, by Laura Padilla, was "Intersectionality and positionality: Situating women of color in the affirmative action dialogue."

"There are few women of color who hold important positions in the academy, Fortune 500 companies, or other prominent fields or industries," the piece says. "This is not inconsequential. Diversifying these arenas, in part by adding qualified women of color to their ranks, remains important for many reaons. For one, there are scant women of color as role models. In my three years at Stanford Law School, there were no professors who were women of color. Harvard Law School hired its first woman of color, Elizabeth Warren, in 1995."  ...

Normally a lib that lies is a resume enhancer. But to get caught in a lie that threatens a lib sacred cow, that's a problem.

Elizabeth Warren was touting her claim of Cherokee heritage as early as 1984, according to a cookbook titled “Pow Wow Chow” edited by her cousin that includes Warren’s recipes for a savory crab omelet and spicy barbecued beans.

The cookbook, edited by Warren’s cousin Candy Rowsey, is a compilation of “special recipes passed down through the Five Tribes families,” according to the introduction in a copy obtained by the Herald.

Warren, who has been under fire for claiming Indian lineage despite a lack of documentation, is identified as “Elizabeth Warren, Cherokee” under each of five recipes she contributes in the cookbook, published in 1984 by the Five Civilized Tribes Museum located in Muskogee. Warren is not listed as an official member of the Cherokee tribe and she has been unable thus far to document her claim of any Native American heritage.

She offered a recipe on herbed tomatoes, touting them as a “great accompaniment to a plain meat and potatoes meal!” She also included a crab with tomato mayonnaise dressing dish and a Mexican oatmeal soup that included oats, onions, tomatoes and chicken broth.  ...

Hey, her family came out on the Trail of Tears to the Oklahoma Territory...of course, it was in the same manner of speaking as the part in Clockwork Orange, when Alec is reading the Bible in the prison library, and thinks how he 'could see himself right there at the Crucifixion' (A daydream sequence in which he is a Legionary with a scourge, whaling away...).

Still looking for written confirmation, but Beck has been reporting for a few days now that not only is she NOT Cherokee, but a genealogist has said that one of her ancestors was actually charged with ROUNDING UP Cherokees for the Trail of Tears.

Yes, because mayonaise was such a common foodstuff among the Cherokee back a few hundred years back.  Once they discovered refrigeration, which was not long after they discovered botulism and salmonella.

The credibility of Massachusetts Democratic  Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren took another hit today as Boston radio talk show host Howie Carr released evidence that appears to confirm Ms. Warren may have plagiarized at least three of the five recipes she submitted to the 1984 Pow Wow Chow cookbook edited by her cousin Candy Rowsey.

Two of the possibly plagiarized recipes, said in the Pow Wow Chow cookbook to have been passed down through generations of Oklahoma Native American members of the Cherokee tribe, are described in a New York Times News Service story as originating at Le Pavilion, a fabulously expensive French restaurant in Manhattan. The dishes were said to be particular favorites of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Cole Porter.
