The union's long-time grip on taxpayer's wallets is finally being wrestled back into their rightful owners hands.
As one could easily predict, if you give an employee the freedom to not be forced into a union and having to pay dues, they'll choose to be free. And that's exactly whats happening. The results of the primary show the union's influence on it's members has faded. They're quickly becoming irrelevant.
Instead of signing petitions and recalling the Gov, these thankless public employees should praising him.
Its time the organized criminal racket of unions be stopped. If king for a day I would completely remove any and all abilities of government workers to unionize. No collective bargaining rights at all for the public sector. Its a conflict of interest that even the tyrant FDR couldn't stomach.
As for private unions... they can still operate, but there will be no more forcing membership, or extracting dues from anyone that does not want to join. Any intimidation will be dealt with under RICO, and I would enforce it fully. I would have no problem throwing these jerks in jail if they threaten, harass, or intimate anyone that refuses to cave in to union demands. Membership must be purely voluntary.
