Is Rush Limbaugh still on Armed Forces Radio?

Is our government still giving that lovely man a megaphone to influence our troops? Or were efforts to stop subsidizing his crap successful.?

Ah! So AFN has nothing to do with entertaining the troops. Liberals see it wholly as a vehicle to influence troops, presumably to their agenda (  :rotf: ).

1. IDK, but he sure as hell ought to stop swilling at the government trough, stealing my tax dollars.

Wouldn't "your tax dollars" first require you pay more into the system than you draw-out through taxation of goods and services voluntarily purchased through voluntary exchange?

Yeah, I didn;t think so.

Anyhoo...

...by your assertion any liberal commentator on AFN would also be subsidized by MY tax dollars.

Right?

But if you DUmbasses MUST know...

...you failed.

...again.

Hopefully this won't distress you too much as you should be accustomed to failure.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

I love it that their efforts over the years to get Rush off the air always results in a big fat nothing. Dummies are failures. Must suck to know that you are the bestest, smartest, folks on the internet and you are still a failure.   :lmao: :lmao:

No DUmmie you weren't successful with your pathetic petition to take Rush off of AFN any more than you morons were successful in shutting me up after I dismantled your stupid little LTE in Stripes 7 years ago.

He's still right there on AFN along with Thom Hartmann...Randi Rhodes...Mike Malloy...MSNBC...NPR...CNN...Ed Schultz and a host of other Libtard clap trap.

For the lurkers who need a reminderand the n00bs here that don't know what I'm referenceing above:

Quote
It started out when I saw this "Letter To The Editor" in the March 22nd Stars and Stripes:

AFN needs diverse opinions

Rush Limbaugh is not of interest to all. Equal time needs to go to more moderate interests, and, failing that, to progressive ones.

I hereby launch a campaign to hear Air America once, at prime time, for every time Rush is on the air. Please let your local American Forces Network radio station know that you need to hear more than a paid announcement from the party line.

Any other point of view is absolutely necessary. Rush’s sources and motivations are highly suspect, and it would be interesting to look on White House pay records for what amounts go to the “Excellence in Broadcasting Network.”

I would also be curious as to what influence leads this broadcast to be on AFN on prime time four to five days a week, with political balance only from my fellow Texan Jim Hightower, for five minutes, buried somewhere in the early morning.

If we don’t demand freedom of choice, we won’t get it.

Emily Dolan Gordon Grafenwöhr, Germany

And I replied with this in the March 29th Stars & Stripes:

Air America not the answer

Quote
This is in response to the letter writer who demanded “equal time” for Air America since American Forces Network broadcasts Rush Limbaugh (“AFN needs diverse opinions,” March 21). It sounds eerily like a form letter being circulated at the Liberal Web site DemocraticUnderground.com, so the editors of Stars and Stripes should be warned that more letters like this may be on the way. Let me also remind the letter writer, Emily Dolan Gordon, that the Federal Communications Commission’s “fairness doctrine” went away more than 20 years ago, so AFN, if it chooses, does not have to give “equal time” to the hate speech on Air America just to make it “fair.”

Second, why would anyone want to subject the soldiers and their family members proudly serving in all branches of the armed services to the anti-military filth that the hosts of the shows on Air America spew anyway? Besides, the liberal point of view is already disseminated on AFN through National Public Radio.

I suggest that if anyone wants to listen to their kook-theory scare-the-people diatribes, he or she should simply go to Air America’s Web site and listen for free. And if anyone dislikes listening to the things that Limbaugh has to say that much, he or she should simply exercise the greatest freedom we have as Americans, the freedom of choice, and change the channel.

Spc. XXXX X. XXXXXXXXX Camp Casey, South Korea

And lets just say what showed up in my in box the day after my reply was published was typical DUmmie hate.

They put Ed Shulz on up here for an hour in the afternoon. Don't think it will last long as he doesn't seem to be pullin' in any sponsors willin' to pay more than 10 bucks a spot while he's on. Libs just ain't that popular up here and if ya sponsor that prick, yer liable to lose customers not increase yer clientele!

Apparently there were enough of those ****in' Kalifornicators who have moved up here and complained we were all right wing radio that they gave in. Not makin' 'em real popular, doncha know! Not just the radio personnel, but the kalifornicators as well. They shoulda kept the damned mouths shut!
