Usually the convention will end up in a state that the party who hosts it expects to win. Sometimes they will put it in a swing state to nudge the ball into the goal.

NC seems to have been a colossal miscalculation for the Dems. Just like pretty much everything they have done over the last several weeks.

Pretty sure that the calculation is that the negro vote will still go 90%+ to the white-black candidate no matter what. However, this will suppress the overall number of that .9+ multiplier. It is quite like how Hitler could have won the war but refused to listen to the field marshals and went with his gut. Today 0 initiated his own Operation Barbarossa. 0bama is just as narcissistic as Hitler but not as smart....which is a good thing.
