     The difference is that liberals (not gays, liberals) don't just want me to accept them. They want me to ENDORSE their lifestyle, which I prefer not to do. Gays, I believe, are much like you describe. Liberals, speaking on behalf of gays, is the group I was derisive toward.

I think the reason we are still talking about these nonsensical issues is we are not starving yet and, of course, liberals have no ideas other than placing folks into liberal-approved groups and then pitting them against one another.

They do it all the time. As mentioned in another thread - If the killing of OBL went down exactly as it had, except GW Bush was the President, the DUmp would have been all over him. Other issues : Guantanamo is still open, rendition still happens, drone strikes, warrant-less wiretapping, wars are still being fought, and troops are being drawn down in Iraq more-or-less on GW Bush's timetable, Obama's continuing 'war on drugs' - all of it is alright - until the end of January, 2013.

Look dummie... I don't hate gays. I have a number of friends that are gays. Good friends. They don't force their lifestyle views on me, and I don't care what they do behind closed doors. What I DON'T like, is gay marriage. I don't have a problem with civil unions, but marriage is between a man and woman. Period. End of story.

BTW dummie... I've been hearing about the demise of "conservative relevance" for 30 plus years now. Ain't happened yet, ain't gonna happen in the near future and damned sure ain't gonna happen in the far future. Know why? Cause you the minority. End of story. Suck on it dummie.
