Life of Julia. Never heard of it.
« on: May 06, 2012, 09:15:48 PM »
They know in their little black hearts this is the stupidest piece of propaganda ever created by Obama's super smart re-election team so they are pretending it isn't worth commenting on. Those three threads have about five comments each. Obama's lost his mojo.

1. Thanks for this thread....

I was in the car a lot yesterday and Michael Graham (friggin Repug that he is) was talking about Julia and the website.

I was so angry at what he was saying I think I used up every swear word there is screaming at the radio. Good thing that I was alone, lol. But other cars/drivers musta thought I was a little strange.

I had never heard about Julia and the website but I knew every word Graham was saying was the typical bullshit RW crap!

3. This is being ridiculed as "needing the government from an early age, through life,

and on to senior years. I hope they remove it soon, much too government dependency and sends a bad message.

4. Either than or put up a comparison of Julia's life under Republican policies.

Julia, of course, would be saddled with a dozen kids, begging in the street for food while working 3 minimum wage jobs.

Here's your wish, Vinca. Done by the unparalled Iowahawk. Enjoy!

Seriously, if someone had told my daugther that her best expectations were to rely on the Government, I would tell them to shove it sideways.

So Republicans go around sneaking kids into the houses of unsuspecting women?  :???:

The "Life of Julia".
Gubment gives me other peopls stuff. I don't have to do squat.
That, is Obama's platform, short and sweet.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Meanwhile, Julia's neighbor, Lisa was homeschooled, worked in her family's business since she was 12, went to Hillsdale College, graduated with honors, became POTUS, restored the Constitution and gutted all those bloated, unconstitutional government programs. The people in Julia's neighborhood were very happy, all became richer because they weren't suffering an overbearing tax burden, they breathed a sigh of relief because their children and grandchildren would no longer be burdened by debt they didn't create and would never have a chance to benefit from. Julia, unable to take care of herself, became an homeless crack addict and died in a gutter. No one missed her.

Heritage has a "companion piece" to Julia--"The Life of Julie," IIRC.  It shows the life with a conservative viewpoint, how she succeeded, etc.

At what point of her life was Julia free and unbound by the whims of self-serving politicians?

That's only part I didn't see.

Obama has the worst re-election and PR team ever. This is latest Julia bullshit is so Orwellian that its creeping a lot of people out. There was also the "snitch on your friends" twitter account that blew up in a laugh riot on the internet. He must have hired nothing but Ivory Tower elites so out of touch with everyday people that they simply don't realize how foolish these campaign themes are.

P.S.  And they still haven't commented anymore on it, even though it's raging through the internet.  And TV.  You'd think they'd have something to say.

Poor Julia.

In other news, Meow the cat died.    :bawl:

Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Oh, hadn't read the Iowahawk piece...way too funny! "Under Mitt Romney little Julia will be marched to a Mormon polygamy camp in Utah where Paul Ryan will torture her with boring Republican math mumbo-jumbo." I can't stop laughing!

It restored some faith in humanity for me. I was on fumes by that time, and to see Obama's snitch website get treated that way gave me hope.
