Cub reporter schools the primitives on reporting

No way will I pass on a chance to ridicule Nads and her lies.
Nads the great, schools the unwashed primative masses with her reportage expertise.

The danger of being a journalist... in Mexico
Yesterday I went to buy a sleeve for one of our lenses. I will be covering a large rally today, on a person that is mostly hated here, but hey, it is news.

So I struck a conversation with these two guys who were replacing the first set of cameras of the year. On average they lose a set a quarter. No, not because somebody drops it. More like a mag light or baton falls on it. Sometimes they get lucky and all they have to replace is the somewhat expensive glass.

This is happening just south of the border... and it is either the cops or the drug dealers, sometimes both, that do not want photos taken, period.

So think about that one. And what is happening so close to the United States. They even jockingly offered a job taking photos down there... I declined, I like breathing. In fact, you could say I am addicted to it.

In fact. Mexico is one of the most dangerous places for working journalists.

They bought their gear... and we went to the coffee shop. They gave me tips on how to photograph at a large political rally. And of course they chuckled that they may, probably will not, get the thousands they expect. They follow US Politics, and they have quite the insight on our politics. We were also talking of the July 4th election (Presidential) in Mexico. Now that will be interesting for multiple reasons. Yup, we were talking on how these elections (both nations) could also change how North America looks, since in Mexico there is a lot of resentment on NAFTA... (just in case anybody wondered) We don't

(Ron Paul in case anybody wonders.)  Still don't care

Is there anything you can do in Mexico that isn't dangerous?

This gringo plans on staying north of the border.  Thanks, but no thanks.

If Nadin wants to remain perfectly safe in Mexico, with a ten-foot buffer between her and everyone else, in fact, she need only remove her top.

Who, Nads.  :whatever:
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Weird.

Nothing in there about fact-checking.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Still, not a single comment.
In some respects, I have to laugh at her feeble attempts to impress the DUmp with her importance.
Her comment about buying a "sleeve" for one of her lenses implies she has two.
Buying a "sleeve" certainly sounds impressive...until you find that when you buy a good lens, it comes with one, or a padded case.
Nads, deary, don't buy cheap glass.
Nads, deary, professional photo journalists always have back-ups. They don't listen to your ilk and run to WalMart to buy a new lens.
Nads, deary, you're lying again, as usual, to try and impress the unwashed.
Nads, deary, your knowledge of phography amounts to program ae, push the button and hope.

How the DUmp puts up with her BS line, I'll never understand. :banghead:

And she didn't condescendingly recite her resume, argue with them, and put them on her Iggy List?

Does anyone really believe that drug dealers would use Mag lights or batons to dissuade a photographer from taking pictures?

That's funny.
They need some more primatives to start beating her ass over her lies.
It may take some time, there's a lot of ground to cover.

With the guns that Holder and crew gave the bad guys she still wouldn't be perfectly safe.

2. To be brutal stupid

Until that fun officially starts in the US, nobody cares. The only fun might be target practise

For the record a limited ammount of that fun has started. (Shootouts that is) No it hasn't, you're full of shit as usual

Weellll, she has plenty of places to "pack' it.  If you get my drift. :naughty:

I had forgotten about her knife. The bad guys are screwed. Doubly so with her mad rappelling skills if there is a helicopter available.
