Elevator speech: What I tell people when they say "the stimulus failed"

Suppose you are in what you think is a 10-foot hole. You ask for a 10-foot ladder to get you out. But then you find out the hole is really 15 feet deep.

Well, the lesson to be learned from that isn't that ladders don't work. If you climb to the top, you're still 10 feet higher than when you started. The lesson to be learned is that you need a taller adder.

That's the situation Obama was in back in early 2009. The hole was deeper than anyone realized. We needed a taller ladder. But if the GOP had their way, we would have just dug the hole deeper.

This just in: Obama is too ****ing stupid to spot the difference between a 10-foot depth and something half-again as deep.

Obama also spent his time investing in shovels instead of ladders.

Was a time when kids went elevator hopping, they rode on one and jumped on the top of another  that was decending., or asending , great fun for the drunk kids that had on a  Friday  no date.

I love it.  Bush was an idiot who destroyed everything.  That's what we were told in 2008.  If we just elected the Obamessiah, the seas would recede and we'd have skittles-shitting unicorns.  Now that he's in office and he's failed to deliver on his promises, it isn't his fault.  No, it's because Bush apparently destroyed MORE than JUST everything.  Don't ask me how it's possible or how it even makes sense.  Ask a DUmmie.
