Oh my.

By the way, another of the headlines on Drudge is Mowchelle's assurance that no, she won't run for president.

Whew.

Vacation backlash: Blue collar Dems jealous, angry at Obamas

Blue collar Democratic voters, stuck taking depressing “staycations” because they can’t afford gas and hotels, are resentful of the first family’s 17 lavish vacations around the world and don’t want their tax dollars paying for the Obamas’ holidays, according to a new analysis of swing voters.

“They view everything through their own personal situation and if they can’t afford to do it, they can’t enjoy it, they don’t like Obama using their tax dollars to benefit himself,” said pollster John McLaughlin. “In this case, they see him as out of touch. While they are struggling he’s not sharing in that struggle and he’s basically doing what they can’t do on their tax dollars,” added the GOP pollster.

He and several other top-tier Republican pollsters, organized by Resurgent Republic, traveled to 11 battleground states to host focus groups of independent and swing voters, mostly Democrats, who voted for President Obama in 2008 but who are now on the fence.

McLaughlin handled blue collar and Catholic voters in Pittsburgh on April 3 and Cleveland on March 20. He found that they are very depressed about the economy and feel that their tax dollars are being sucked up by both the rich and those living on government assistance.....

Moochelle deserves a vacation. All that packing and unpacking for vacations is exhausting...so she should just stay on vacation, ergo "Staycation".[DU/mode]

It isn't right that Obama is campaigning on the taxpayer's dime either.

And yet, if that's what it takes to get his huge-ass feet off the HMS Resolution Desk by January 20th, it's a small price to pay compared to the $5+ trillion hole he and his cocksucker buddies in Congress have dug us into, the almost irreparable harm he's done to relations with most of our oldest allies in the world, and the cost of scraping his shit off of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Yet I heard some liberal talking duchehead claiming that Obama has increased our standing in the world's eyes.   :rotf:

Spoke with an older lady on the phone the other night from CA.

She said something about she won't be going on vacation this year because she can't afford to go anywhere. (She can however afford $75 for a ring... :whistling: ) I said I didn't think many people will be if gas prices stay the way they are, that I wouldn't be going anywhere.

Man, did that open a can a worms!!!!

First she said it was "because we have a stupid vegetable in the White House instead of a president that knew what he was doing.  We got Brocolli living in the White House with Mushroom. Okra used to be a friend of Mushroom's until Mushroom found out that Brocolli was calling Okra in the middle of the night to find out how to get people to like him. So now Mushroom doesn't like Okra cause she's jealous of her. "

I laughed, cause I really didn't know what to say.

Then she started in about "the vacations the stupid Mushroom keeps taking that are costing us ten thousand dollars a day to go to Hawaii, and all the money she spent going to Spain, then we got to pay all this money for them to go to that Martha's Island place! I can't go on vacation, and all she does is go on vacation and I have to help pay for it!!!"

She got really worked up over the whole thing. I figured the best thing I could do was get off the phone with her. Told her thanks for calling and placing an order, and she said "make sure you go vote in November, Honey!"

I would so love to ask these CA women if they voted for Obama and they have now changed their mind or if they didn't like him in the first place.

Lot of these women I talk to, all over the country, are retired and on fixed incomes. They are not happy campers! They don't have as much disposable income as they used to, and they are pissed about it!!
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
