Who Was This Person? #10
« on: April 26, 2012, 09:41:11 AM »
This comedian, singer, actor, songwriter, guitarist and composer used an assumed first name, which was modified a bit by a big-time (back then) radio and TV personality.

Now get outta here.....

There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Keep trying. It's not your wife!

I NEVER imagined this would be so long-lasting....maybe it's an age thing, but this guy was around until the 1980s. (That's another clue!)

Jackie Gleason?

That's who I just thought of too.

Didn't he used to say that on The Honeymooners?
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

After a bit of Nadining, I am not so sure anymore as I found on the official site that Gleason got his nickname from his mother. But he seems to fit in a every other way.

Now it is getting like an episode of House.
