I thought nothing would be better than my Motorola RAZR, and I still think as a telephone it can't be improved upon.
I've also always had an instinctive dislike for hippie-dippy moonbat Apple products.
But I decided the fifth iPhone I bought would be for me, so a few months ago I got a 4s. It's fabulous.
Not as a telephone; I still think the RAZR was better, but the iPhone is a whole different lifestyle.
It's the apps. Like today, I was in the mall and didn't know where a store was. I hit Mall Maps, and got a layout of the mall, with a flashing pin for my exact location, and another pin for the store I was looking for. I walked straight to it.
I have to wait for an auto emissions test. I hit the Kindle app, and start reading my current book at the point I left off on the actual Kindle device at home.
Dozens of apps that do practical things like that. It's amazing.
A couple of weeks ago, I got my wife an iPad, and now I think I'll have to get one for myself.
Pretty soon, this place is going to look like squatting Mike's alleged Apple-infested Maryland bungalow.
