We would be better off if Barry had done like he did in Illinois and in the Senate and just vote "present".

Actually, he was "present", at golf courses, fund raisers, pep rallies, and vacation spots around the world.

I shutter to think what kind of damage he could have done if we really WAS present!

Unemployment massively rising, gas prices going through the roof, he pisses off our nation's allies while simultaneously sucking up to our nation's enemies, he badmouths his own country in front of said enemies, he demonstrates enormous hypocrisy between his words and his actions as he parties it up like a king on exorbitant vacations all the while regularly giving long- winded speeches about how regular Amerians need to make sacrifices in their lifestyles (A good leader is supposed to set a good example for his people, and practice what he preaches; Obama is an immense failure at this), he is quite deliberately turning the American people against each other through his promotion of class warfare and race- baiting (And this is the president who was supposed to be the Great Uniter who'd bring the country together), and demonstrates supreme arrogance and narcissism in everything he does.
I'd say a solid D- for him.

Oh yeh, no doubt.  We do them to get out of work.  It's nice to build them a house but yeh, within a few months really it's a shithole with trash everywhere.   If you don't have to work for something you aren't going to treat it with any respect.

I have to disagree.

The habitat for Humanity requirements are such that the people that have received them,around here anyway, have not only maintained their homes but have done the things necessary to improve their lot in life. Such as returned to school, gotten better employable skills through further education etc.

The habitat homes built around here have revitalized the parts of the community they have been built in.

Around here, Habitat homes are rebuilt rundown dwellings in area's of town that no one wants to live in. And like mentioned, after about two or three years, they are trashed.
