Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

My favorite RFK quote is, "Hey, Ted, if she gives you any lip, just punch her in the face and drive your car into the Chappaquiddick."

A raising tide lifts all boats.

OR

Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.

Both are antithetical to current National Socialist Democrats. JFK would be an unreasonable republican that Obama the dog eater in chief talks about so often. When Obama is not eating dog, bankrupting the country, off on 20 million dollar vacations, or setting race relations back 60 years.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Oh man.

2. Our country would be a different place now if he were not killed

What a tragedy for our nation.

Our country would be in a different place if Hubert Humphrey had been elected in 1968.

Our country would be in a different place if Eugene McCarthy had gotten the Democrat nomination and won.

Our country would be in a different place if George Wallace had been elected in 1968.

Our country would be in a different place if Nelson Rockefeller had gotten the Republican nomination and won.

Our country would be in a different place if Ronald Reagan had gotten the Republican nomination and won.

Whether for the better or worse, no one knows.

The only thing one knows is our country would be in a different place under any of these scenarios.

So.....what's the primitive's point?

This is hilarious, how the primitives have such a warped idea of who Robert Kennedy was.

Robert Kennedy was a chum, a pal, of the e-v-u-l Joe McCarthy.

Robert Kennedy tried to bust the labor unions.

Robert Kennedy tried to get the blacks to "slow down" in their demonstrations for equal rights.

Robert Kennedy was the firebrand, the hawk, in the Kennedy cabinet who almost triggered a nuclear holocaust during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Robert Kennedy got Diem murdered so as to "Americanize" the war in Vietnam.

Where do the primitives get their rather odd notions about who and what Robert Kennedy was?

I would imagine the same place they get their notions on who MLK was, and that President Lincoln was really a Democrat.

I beg your pardon. I think you mean Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., PhD.

Or that Jesus was a pro-government liberal, or that Hitler was a conservative.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

It's amazing how sometimes an event that seemed unfortunate when it happened turns out, in retrospect, to have been a godsend.

In a vile family of foul villains, snotty little Bobby was perhaps the worst.

His survival and eventual election would have been catastrophic.

God works in wondrous ways.

There are some liberals who actually believe that. It makes you :banghead:

Well, most the time they just pull them outa their ass, Coach.

With all of the stuff they stuff into their asses it's probably a relief for them to pull something out. Maybe that's why they do it so often.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe
