A election wager. What do you think?
« on: April 21, 2012, 05:11:38 PM »
I am betting that if Obama loses this year, he will do the same thing Al Gore did in 2000. That is he will contest it and demand a recount until they tell him that he won.

Hi,

I am betting that if the October polls show he will lose he will start a bunch of race riots, maybe a war, and then try to declare martial law and suspend the elections.

Actually I am just repeating some stuff I have read over the last few weeks.

regards,

Doubtful.  The election won't be that close in nearly enough states for Obumbles to even consider it.

Oh, he could TRY--but he'd end up looking petty and base to even the most blind observer.  To do so would be to take down the Democrat party for a generation or more.

After losing in November the grifter is going to spend the rest of his term playing golf and jet-setting around on vacations and sucking the government tit dry until he gets the bum's rush in January.

As unpopular as Obama is, I am afraid the election is going to be much closer than Conservatives hope and pray it will be.

Romney is not all that popular in the Red states.  I am hearing a lot of chatter that people will "just stay home" on election day and that will hurt the down ticket races.

Who ever wins the Oval Office we must send a strong majority of Republicans to the House and Senate.

Sorry but I disagree.  I think the taste of shit in everyone's mouth that is Obama is so strong that they would vote for ANYONE just to get rid of him.

Romney's wins in the primary have been in Blue States that Obama will carry in November.

I fear in the General he could win a majority in every one of the Red States, but there are not enough electoral votes for him to win.  I am very worried.  Not over the Presidential election, but the House and Senate.

Why? Because a poll that samples 40% Democrat, 20% Republican, and 40% independent tells you he's gonna lose? Don't buy into those bullshit polls. Besides, a president isn't elected on popular vote. I think Romney is going to win in a landslide.

I wish that were true.

Can't be a landslide. No way Obama loses New York, California, Washington, Michigan or Illinois. What sucks is that 0bama will have around 120 electoral votes without even campaigning.

I wonder how bad it would have to get before California and New York turn red again.

It would be a mistake to underestimate the lengths to which Barry and his Thugs will go to steal this election. Splashdown is correct -- there are PLENTY of moonbats out there who think Barry can do no wrong. Yes, there are those even weirder, whacked-out moonbats who maintain that Barry isn't far enough left ( :o ) and are disaffected with him for that reason, but these idjits will vote for Barry again too.

And Barry's war chest has hardly been touched, whereas Romney's been spending out of his left and right. Granted, assuming Romney is the nominee, that war chest will be replenished to some level, but my point is, Barry isn't even out of the starting blocks yet. He goes to fundraiser after fundraiser, makes his stupid little speech, and then climbs back on AF1 to spend more of the taxpayer's money.

No need to apologize for disagreeing, Gina.  I am not reading polls, but watching the results of the primary elections.  Turnout has gotten dismal.  People have lost interest.  Chatter suggests many are discouraged.

In the early part of the campaign (geeeze! was it only 2 months ago?) there was a strong not-mitt presense, but he pulled ahead by winning the GOP primaries in Blue States, and beating up on newt and Rick with negative ads.

Unless something major (and I do not know what it will take) happens to get conservatives to the polls, Obama is as assured of re election as Mittens is of the GOP nomination.

It makes glad that some folkes think that weak turnout in recent GOP primaries are any indication of anything beyound realization that Romney is going to be the GOP nomination.

Moreover it is interesting as it is and will be used to try to subdue voter turnout.

Chatter suggests otherwise and a little bird (its a cardinal) told me that O goes down by 3 percentage points, he's got friends with the Luntz people.

Romney will have that many electoral votes locked up also with little campaiging such as most of the Southern states, Texas, all of the mountain states and parts of the midwest.

I do think that he also has a crack at winning MI and WA.

Obama will lose badly. He is even acting like a loser.

He doesn't have to act.

I think it will be close, with Romney winning. Which is why I said about Obama contesting. The one thing I want to do is watch MSNBC. They will be crying rivers and throwing a major fit if Obama loses. Everyone at that network is on the suicide watch list of 2012.

Yep, it possible for that to happen. We will have to watch and see though.

No. I don't think Obama will lose with dignity. He will punish America in his last days as a lame duck.
He will compromise security, endanger the military, do whatever he can to hurt the economy.
