  PEORIA, Illinois, April 20, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – After a fiery homily last weekend urging the faithful to oppose President Obama’s “radical pro-abortion and extreme secularist agenda” at the ballot box in November, Bishop Daniel Jenky of Peoria has been hit with an IRS complaint from a national secularist lobby group.

At a gathering of Catholic men on Saturday, the Illinois prelate had slammed Obama’s mandate forcing religious employers to cover contraceptives, sterilizations, and abortion-inducing drugs. The unprecedented attack on religious freedom, he said, signaled that the president “seems intent on following a similar path” as past dictators such as Hitler, Stalin, and Otto von Bismarck.

I read an excellent 4 page article yesterday originally printed in the Chicago Tribune about how owebuma used lawyers and legal wrangling to clear off every legitimate party challenger to elected office, when running in Chicago. Isn't it strange that the once MSM never asked or asks how the people in a runner's state feel about him/her and his/her policies?

But they're on the LIBERALS' side. The Catholic Church is too--too often--but it seems we have found our spine about 40 years too late. Just in time to get into lawsuits, though.

This is a tactic that the libs have used for quite some time.  Paula Jones was randomnly audited by the IRS something like 4 straight years when Clinton was president......and she did not itemize her deductions.

According to the IRS they were "random" audits and it was just the luck of the draw.

BO has taken those abuses of power and turned them into an art form.

How many of us are now reading about threats against folks who are speaking out about BO's birth certificate, I mean really ugly stuff.

No wonder Chavez admires him.

You should all note that this story was about a secularist advocacy group filing a complaint with the IRS, not about the IRS unilaterally deciding to take action against the bishop.  The same avenue is open to anyone who wants to file a complaint against Jeremiah Wright.

From what I understand, the principal job of David Axelrod is to be Barry's dirt-digger and chief hatchet man. Axelrod pretty much singlehandedly destroyed Jack Ryan during the 2004 elections in which Alan Keyes replaced Ryan. We all know that Keyes went down too, but we might possibly be assured that Keyes didn't lose the election because he was black. 

No, I think Keyes lost because of his position on his form of reparations, which was to exempt black Americans from federal income tax for a couple of generations.

Not really sure, but we know for sure that Jack Ryan's custody records were released when they shouldn't have been and because he wanted to have sex with this then-wife in a public place (strip club), well, that pretty much ended Ryan's career. There is EVERY indication that Axelrod had everything to do with orchestrating that cute little number.

One of our members here has a relative who's a neighbor of Axelrod, AND a card-carrying liberal. He wishes that the relative would eliminate Axelrod as a poisonous pest that he is.
