I think they are both great, but I am more partial to Picard. Mostly because was around when TNG was made. And Marina Sirtis was hot. Patrick Stewart is a great Actor, and I used to watch Lamar Burtin on Reading Rainbow.

Kirk was better for two reasons.
1) he did every alien chick he could find. Serious.
2) if aliens even looked at him funny, he would blow them outa the sky!
