You know, it was about three weeks ago that I had a conversation with a friend of Steve Dawes.

He reminded me that the big guy's put out a lot of stuff, and that www.electstevedawes.com is not a complete collection, not even a twentieth of a collection, of the big guy.

I said, yeah, I knew that.

He also reminded me that there was even dirtier dirt--produced by the big guy, of course--that could've been used, but out of sensitivity and compassion and pity for the big guy, it wasn't.

I said, yeah, I figured that; decent and civilized people are admirable for the restraint they use.

One wishes one could say the same for the primitives, but one can't.

That really is a lovely poster.
Self avowed socialist Steve Dawes should plant several of them within the legal limits at all the polling places.
It would certainly help get get him recognized.  Might even get a vote or two.

It was started on www.conservativecave.com, by the people who were involved in the death of DU-er Andy Stephenson some years ago. The owner of www.conservativecave is Fred Grady, who claims to live in Nebraska. He happens to also be a long-time Freeper.

Weeks ago this google-bombing of the site they set up to divert searches from Steve's legitimate site was discussed on DU.  

Somebody doesn't know what they're talking about.

I think that using Russian works as a hook to get people's attention - I've seen signs around the United States in many different languages, but when is the last time anyone has seen Russian ?

Someone from Scamdy went to Johns Hopkins in person, to their business and printing departments, with copies of those.

John Hopkins in both instances said nope, those aren't the receipts we issue for cash payment; nothing like them.

There was something about the certified checks that was off, but I forget what.  They'd been altered.

As for the bill you post, now I recall that was legit--however, please notice it pertained to his Whipple done at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle in February 2005; it had nothing to do with any Whipple at Johns Hopkins in May 2005.

Indeed - It is best to avoid any 'documents' pertaining to the late, round one - especially now*. Many of them could be classified as 'fake, but accurate' according to DU.

*unlike DU legend & lore, none of us are concerned about the AS affair, and other than point out inconsistencies, we had nothing to do with his health-care or his passing.--Even though there are still many on DU that believe a hospital run by a team of professionals bent to the will of a few anonymous curmudgeons on a fairly insignificant website. Suffice it to say - its a ridiculous notion.

Here's my theory, and I'll bet it's reasonable.

The big guy racked up quite a bill having his newspaper-insert flyers printed.

He used a union shop in Lincoln, owned by one of his Democrat buddies (nothing wrong with that).

His Democrat buddy gave him possession of the flyers upon partial payment, as a favor telling the big guy he could take care of the rest of the bill later.

In the meantime, the big guy ordered all these yard-signs.

Well, the yard-signs were printed up, but the Democrat buddy's still waiting for the rest of the payment for the flyers, and so the yard-signs are "collect on delivery," COD.

So the big guy's yard-signs are still at the printery, and probably are going to the recycler on May 16.

NO ONE is stealing his signs. Steve has no staff to put them up for him. That means he has to give up a Saturday in his barkalounger, get off his lazy union a$$ and put them up himself.

Lets face it, Steve NEVER went door to door like he said. Steve is union grade l-a-z-y.
Steve is a union made gun, doesn't work and you can't fire it.

His disability scam failed and the waterworks are kicking him out and now he has to start all over in a police department that knows all about his support of cop killers.
The cushy city council job would place Steve in a position where graft and corruption could make him rich...and he still won't get off his a$$ and do anything to get it.

Bottom line: Steve is a union man, staggering through life, fat drunk and lazy.
