poll: why are the primitives so angry at the DUmpster?

Why, does one suppose, the primitives are so angry at the DUmpster?

It's palpable, their anger, and it shows even in their sulking silence, when they're refraining from commenting on Skins's island.

This is a concern of mine personally, because as a moderator, one's supposed to be continuously, daily, replenishing the inventory of the DUmpster, and lately, some of the best-selling products haven't produced.

Yeah, sure, we've been stocking the shelves with new products, new brands, but at the same time, it's important to keep in stock fresh supplies of the well-established, popular, products.

Why does one suppose this is?  One knows the primitives are angry at the DUmpster, but why?

I've been busy in real life, and so my own moles have been but sporadic this past week on Skins's island.

But I got an e-mail today from a friend there--a bona fide primitive, but a real-life friend nonetheless--telling me that there's some primitives who are pissed, really pissed, at the DUmpster.

He named a few, and those names included some stellar primitives, some of our most popular products.

Think of, for example, the sparkling old dude, or the grasswire primitive; they haven't been commenting, as they're not up to supplying the demand for them.

I think that's rather petty of them.

I voted that we dont take them seriously.  Their ideas are so off the wall batshit, that they are laughable to normal people.  I could see voting for any of the above choices though, since different things upset different primitives.

They hate us because we take their own words in context and make fun of their beliefs. They can't stand to have anything they believe questioned that is why different views are not allowed at DU.

Ditto, my other is that with Romney now gaining, and even ahead of owebuma, lib/dem/socialists are beginning to seethe at each other. The calm before all the legitimate finger pointing storm begins. Believe me, when owebuma loses, a lot of fingers will get pointed, and some lib/dem/socialist heads will roll.

We need more than posts from random unterprimitiven. They're far too stupid and dull to consistently provide comical posts.

The more prominent DUmpmonkeys, the Top DUmmy contenders who've nearly evaporated lately, are clever nuts.

Good arguments could be made, I suppose, for any of the choices, but right now I'm thinking of the first choice, the primitives being angry at the DUmpster because they've never been challenged before.

In my whole entire lifetime, the news media, academia, government, Hollywood, Madison Avenue, the arts (or, the "arts"), have been overwhelmingly dominated by the "hate America first, blame America first, there is no God, demonize the nasty opposition, kill them if you can" mob.

And of course the Age of Aquarius was ushered in with the mid-term elections of 1974; the evil old white-man Establishment had been utterly destroyed, the hippies now in charge.

By 1980, everything on the hippie agenda of the 1960s was either legal, or at least socially acceptable.

The primitives fail to see that they are the Establishment, and have been for quite a while now.

Now, we're talking nearly--not quite, but nearly--two generations whose ideas and attitudes haven't been challenged, other than by occasional pot-shots or a Republican president in office for a while (during which time, because the Establishment was against him, he couldn't do nearly all the good he wished to do).

The Democrats, liberals, and primitives evolved into a mutual-admiration society, reassuring each other over and over again that they're nice people, that they're unselfish people, that they're noble people, that they're the most moral people on God's green earth.

And this mutual admiration has been constantly reinforced by the news media, academia, government, Hollywood, Madison Avenue, the "arts" assuring the primitives they're right; they're a gift to mankind, the primitives.

They've never been challenged before; the primitives actually believe they're nice people, smart people.

And just as the hippies did in the 1960s and 1970s to the evil old white men, ridiculing and mocking and deriding them, ultimately usurping them, well, turnabout's beginning to happen (although it has a l-o-n-g ways to go yet).

The primitives are being challenged, and they don't like it; they'd hoped to be the Establishment forever.

Their biggest and deepest well of anger they draw from is when their indoctrination is challenged.

Anything that shakes or causes doubt in what they've been brainwashed to believe causes a seething white hot anger in them.

But that's what happens when your entire beleif system is based on emotions and feelings.

You find yourself devoid of any logical or intelligent comeback or defense when faced with reality outside the vaccum your ideals were formed in.

Deep down on a purely subconscious level they know they are failures, their ideology is a failure and they're full of self loathing that they externalise on people who are not.

I, too, said "other," as there's no "all of the above" option.  See, they may be used to being challenged for a short time, but when it's sustained, and sustained by using their own words, well, they don't like that.  They react the only way they know how to--go "turtle" on us.

and that is what we do. Laughing at them IS a challenge.
They seethe with hate for all who would challenge them. The Tea Party, Joe the Plumber, Sarah...anyone who would speak up. Political correctness was meant to sidestep the constitution and criminalize unliberal speech.

and yet here is a site that does not tow the "Obey us, don't spray us." line. Further, direct quotes are not slander, and fair game. Further, they have an OPEN board where anyone can look in and see the madness.
Further, CC seems to have outstripped even Freepers in our most excellent mockery.

Further, they can't do to us what we do to them for three reasons,
