With a vigor and vehemence that defies the imagination, the mike_c primitive insists he long ago rejected, utterly rejected, those "fundie religious principles" on which he had been raised.

The mike_c primitive, circa 60 years old, was born and raised in rural Kansas amidst one of those conservative pacifist Christian denominations, the Mennonites or somesuch.
The mike_c primitive mistakenly attributes his "pacifism" to his adopted liberalism and primitivism, but no, it's rooted inside of him far deeper than that. It's just that in his rage and anger, he distorted, deformed, those principles, so that now his "pacifism" is a parody of that authentic pacifism of his childhood.

For the record, the mike_c primitive, when roaming around Skins's island, is NOT an elitist; he is authentically more open and accepting of other primitives, unlike most other--in fact, the majority of--primitives. High and low, notorious and anonymous, aesthetic and unaesthetic, the mike_c primitive is open to all of them.
The mike_c primitive thinks it's because he's a liberal and a primitive, that he's so accepting of others.
But no, that's not it; as mentioned, it's rooted in him more deeply than that. It comes from what he absorbed as a little lad in a "fundie Christian" environment, where he learned that God, and only God, can judge other people, and as for people themselves, well, it's just probably a good idea that one accept everyone and anyone coming his way.
The mike_c primitive has rejected nothing of his childhood; he has just merely distorted them.
But all this Freudian stuff aside, as there's something more important with which the mike_c primitive should be dealing.
The mike_c primitive has posted photographs of himself at various times, and much to my sincere dismay, it appears the mike_c primitive has a, uh, dermotological problem similar with my own. And we all know what franksolich is dealing with, so probably it would be a good idea for the mike_c primitive to see a physician about it.
