I find it beyond funny that the liberals on DU are willing to go after Ann Romey in this way... They honestly think Michelle Obama is not perceived as more out of touch then anybody else (including anna)

if Ann Romey is only 3/4 as spend happy as michelle as first lady this country is better off......

So tell me DUmmies what makes Michelle an expert when she advises her husband?
Does she know anything about being poor today? When is the last time she had to decide between groceries and the car payment? When is the last time she had to pick up extra shifts to pay for her daughters braces? When is the last time she had to tell the girls, "no we can't take a vacation this year we just can't afford it"? So what makes her an expert and Anne a know nothing?

The Legislation they support has contributed to high unemployment, high gas prices, high food prices, how have they helped women? they've impoverished them. Oh, and under the Obama economy? over 92% of jobs lost were jobs women had.

After reading the goons at DU talking about the whole Anne Romney thing, I have come to the conclusion that this really has nothing to do with SAHMs, it is all about envy of the wealthy. They keep saying how she must have had an army of nannies and munched on bon bons all day. Also for the people who support welfare they have a lot nerve complaining that someone doesn't have to work outside the home. If Anne was a welfare mom they would love her.

a few days ago a  couple Local guys were talking about the Romneys on their radio talk show. I don't recall all that was said, just a few tidbits. Mitts Dad who was the top Dog of GM at the time Mitt and Ann were in college did give them some stock that they immediately sold to purchase books. In a basement apartment where the Romneys set up home their dining/study table was a door laid on a couple saw horses.
