Chevy Volt invented by ultraconservative

Ultraconservatives hate anything environmental including the Chevy Volt electric car/gasoline car. Maybe if they knew the fact in the title plus the fact that the tax credit for Chevy Volt's purchaser was passed into law during the Bush administration, they would stop making stuff up about the car's performance. These interesting fact I found in a nice article in yesterday's New York Times (in print tomorrow, April 7th) by op-ed columnist Joe Nocera, which can be found here. A must-read.

Excerpt: What is the connection between President Obama and the Volt? There is none. The car was the brainchild of Bob Lutz, a legendary auto executive who is about as liberal as the Koch brothers. The tax credit — which is part of the reason conservatives hate the car — became law during the Bush administration.

“It’s nuts,” said Lutz, when I spoke to him earlier in the week. “This is a significant achievement in the auto industry. There are so many legitimate things to criticize Obama about. It is inexplicable that the right would feel the need to tell lies about the Volt to attack the president.”

Note: It's also possible that if the wingnuts knew these facts, they would ignore them anyway.

I don't care if Ronald Reagan himself drew up the blueprints for the thing, it is still a piece of shit.

Truth is 0bama is pushing the Chevy Volt, meanwhile his EPA is harassing the hell out of the coal industry. This makes no sense, pushing for an electric car while making it harder and harder to produce the electricity to charge that car up. 0bama must go!

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Of course it was and he was a Capitalist, Gore-style, as well. Who else but a brilliant capitalist would create a piece of shit electric car, market it to you smug liberals for 40k, Southpark-style, and actually know you'd fall for it? Wasn't till the Kenyan came along when the idiot started subsidizing that piece of shit. You know, you DUmbasses really are idiots. Al Gore has bilked you out of hundreds of millions from his global warming scam, meanwhile he's cruising around in suburban caravans, 10 vehicles deep, and getting you idiots to show up on bicycles. :lmao: oh, and not to mention his mansion on the ****ing ocean in California.

Oh, and here's some pics of your hero, MULTI-millionaire Al Gore and his possessions (NOTE: Al Gore has never made over 300K a year in his entire life until he lost the 2000 election yet he's worth over 200 million. You DUmmies really are suckers):

Oh, and "Biofuel One"? Yeah, they don't sell diesel on that lake. You idiots don't think he trailers that bitch to the gas station, do you?

Then again, maybe he's "speaking truth to power" by using more energy (read fossil fuels) than Rosie O'Donnell powering up here DeWalt Heavy Duty vibrator.

Universally engineers are conservative. That is all DUches.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Quit being mean to Al Gore!  He is the genius that hired Keith Olbermann to headline his network.  He bought a mansion right on the ocean he says will rise 20 feet.  He KNOWS he and Keith will fix things.

If the government is shovelling out cash for stupid ideas, a businessman is a fool if he doesn't offer them a stupid idea.

A conservative may have invented the Volt, but, not being stupid, decided that with the current productive technological situation, did not have the ability to make it marketable. It takes idiot liberals who shove the idea of non-oil powered cars into everyone's face that is the issue here.

In reality, a DUmpmonkey socialist could not even have the intelligence to put the air in the tires, much less design an actual energy system for a car.

The Volt sounds more like a car designed by committee.  Sorry, Bob.  I like you, but I think you're wrong.

AL Gore you magnificent  ingenious Bastard
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
