Oh, I don't doubt that SOMEONE got fired, but a lot of "winkwink" type of stuff going on, like, "Hey, we have to fire ya, but before you go, fill out this application.  You start tomorrow."

In this case I don't think they fired anybody at all, or even played the types of games like you describe. They just went full on liar mode with the announcement of both "mistake" and "fired someone". I know how liberals think pretty well by now. Always expect the worst. NBC had full knowledge at the management level. This was assigned by higher ups, and dutifully carried out. Not only that, but the execs at NBC, ABC, and CNN are all coordinating with Sharpton on creating and pushing the liberal fantasy.
