My husband is the best husband in the world...
« on: May 11, 2008, 09:21:30 PM »
He made us all (including my mom and step dad) a wonderful mothers day dinner.  While I was laying in bed all day feeling like crap, he went to the store and bought all the food and started working on dinner around 4:00 pm.  He made Pork Tenderloin alla Napoli (If anyone wants the recipe let me know), New Potatoes with Caper Sauce, Outback Steakhouse Blue Cheese Chopped Salad, Asparagus and Creme Brulee for desert.  I was shocked.  He is now in the kitchen cleaning up the huge mess.

I had to take some pictures of course.  :-)

My 9 year old daughter set the table and made her own "place cards".

Here is the wonderful end result

Here is the desert.  He didn't have any propane for the torch so he had to do it in the oven under the broiler.  He was a little disappointed but I thought it tasted wonderful.

I love my husband.

Well, considering I had a terrible hangover, it wasn't too bad.

If it makes you feel better...my mom probably had a bad hangover too.  And my kitties got me nothing for Mother's Day, except Monty he threw up on the living room floor.  LOL

Yum! What a sweet thing to do!!!

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
