I was excited it said "The Office" on the program guide, but when I turned to it, it was some Donny & Marie Mother's Day show.

I was disappointed.

That's odd, Mia. Sorry about that.

I'm watching the episode where Michael puts on a 5K race for a cure for rabies.   :lmao:

I've been recording the old episodes of "The Office" that have been airing on TBS.  I have a major issue with the show.  Despite the fact that I think most of the characters are amusing and funny, Steve Carell's character is absolutely horrid as the lead.  It is so uncomfortable to watch his character, I really want to fast forward through it.

When I first noticed it, his character's style reminded me of Larry David in "Curb Your Enthusiasm".  David's character does and says incredibly stupid and uncooth things, but it is hilarious.  Carell's character is just cringe-worthy, IMHO.

Sorry, just my observations after watching quite a few episodes.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I love you anyway, Ralphie.  :-*

I still do enjoy the show, it's just the Michael Scott character that drives me batty.

Thanks, Jen. :cheersmate:
