MAN LAW INSPIRED: Two Questions
« on: April 03, 2012, 12:11:29 PM »
In the spirit of the recent Man Law threads, I thought I'd ask a couple of innocuous questions that are akin to Man Laws.

Question #1:

Men - have you, or would you, buy feminine hygiene (translation - tampons, pads, pantie-liners, and mops and buckets) products if asked by your SO, casual acquaintance, sister, or mother? If not, why not?

Question #2:

What was the longest period of time you held your SO's, casual acquaintance's, sister's or mother's purse? Round up to the nearest hour.

Discuss.

Hmmm, innocuous, let me think on that a little.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

1) I have bought feminine hygeine products for my spouse. It's a legal item on the store shelf, so who cares? Besides, when she actually has a need for those items, I REALLY don't want to piss her off by saying "Get em yourself".

2) My wife takes great amusement from watching her big Soldier carry a purse. I'd say longest single period of time was about 1 hour.

Question 1: I have purchased feminine hygiene products for the most beautiful woman on the planet.  Not a question of whether I would or not.

Question 2:About 2 hours, but she was in a hospital Emergency Room/ICU at the time.  As soon as they had her settled, the purse went into a cupboard, and then out to the truck for transport home.

Oh, and BS, because... it's Tuesday! :-D

I have bought feminine products for my wife.

I HATE holding stuff. Probably 10 minutes, tops.

God alone suffices.

Splash, docstew, and Defiant6:

It's perhaps unfair, but please note I didn't ask if you'd do those things for your SPOUSE. I specifically said SO, acquaintance, sister, mother, etc.

For those of us who are married, it's a given we'll buy those products and carry her purse. Why? Well, because we're MARRIED!  :rotf:

Please note, that holding the purse is NOT a given, even if I'm married to her.  The occasion in which I have held her purse (and that really is the only one I can think of, off the top of my head) took EXTRAORDINARY circumstances to warrant it.

1.  Yes, I have--just last week, matter of fact.

2.  About five minutes.  I do go into her purse from time to time--but only when she gives me specific permission to do so--or I'm trying to find her cell phone to hook it up to the charger. :whatever:

Oh DefiantSix, that was extraordinary circumstances, wasn't it?  I'm sure you would have done the world for her at that point.  I'm so glad for the recoveries!

I don't think I've ever requested a male to do either 1) or 2).  I do inventory planning on 1), and 2) simply never happens.

Hey Eupher, I saw what you did, calling a mop and bucket "feminine hygiene supplies."  I do believe it's been awhile since I've hauled off and given ya a good slap.

1. Yes, but only for the wife.

2. Only for a few seconds when she is putting on her coat.

1. Yes, but only for the wife.

So, then--the girlfriend has to go get 'em herself?  (Mine does! :rotf: :lmao:  )

Note--BSS does not have a "girlfriend" outside of his marriage.

My "girlfriend" - of nearly 10 years - is still a little too young to need 'em.  Last hygiene product I bought for her was a bag of Huggies. :-)

Oh--that kind.  Yeah, The Heiress is only pushing 4 1/2, so she won't be needing them for a while.

I have Both for Mother, sisters, wife, daughter and a few other Females.  Ain't nuthin' but a thang. Real man real women that's life.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

My hubby picked up some items once for me.  It was in Havre, MT.  He was a cowboy and looked like it.  Found himself standing next to a guy with safety pins stuck through the skin along his collar bone and a couple on his face.  I guess he gave the guy a look and the guy just looked at what hub was buying and raised an eyebrow at him.  Made us laugh on the ride home.
