Now you got your Bunny ears caught in a Coyotes mouth.

Question is why the big bruiser bikers and the most feared powerful men seem to have a liking of pocket dogs.

I have seen the nastiest, meanest, pure evil men brought to their knees when their 5 pound constent companion dies.

Stuff the dog in their riding gear, even buy them a little bitty pair of goggles in case they poke their head out of jacket while riding a Hog to make a drug delivery, rob a bank or 7/11.

Heard of these big bully's going home beating the hell out of Old Lady and Kids and at first sign the dog has a runny nose willing to spend the months rent check to have Fido made healthy.

Seen these tattooed monsters taking their pocket dogs into bars to drink and play pool.   With them 24/7 as one would want to keep Tinker Bell with them.

These suited bully's with money and well dressed smuggle them into restaurants, federal buildings, remember Jane Mansfield that carried her tiny dogs everywhere in her bosom ?????

Next,------- I pass it on to others to discuss.

There are a number of worthless, licking sap, baby substitute breeds of dog that should be killed or at least use as skeet shot. Lapso Apso is one. All they do is yip and yap, and can only express affection with slobber.

This is one, it whines like a mosquito...

A real man's dogs need to be medium size or larger, The only exceptions should be the wiener dogs and Chihuahuas.
All the other little ones need to be outlawed,

I have a poodle that comes in about 75 lbs.  Nuff said.

And as far as little yip-yip dogs, Corgis are also on the allowable list, but that's about it.

I have a Mastiff. Ol Boy getting up in the yrs, he's 10, Life span of a mastiff 10 -12 yrs.

Although Titus is getting long in the tooth and likes to sleep and fart a lot if an unknown walks out onto the back patio he still gets up and takes point.

mastiffs gentle by nature are mean enough looking & big enough to present an imposing force of nature and are very protective of their charge.

When titus decides to join the rest of the gods in heaven I may, not for sure yet, just may get me a jack Russell.

What about little terriers?  See, when we move to a house soon, I want to get a dog.  Our cat Oreo may not like that, but I'm thinking that I'd like to get a Scotch Terrier if I could--barring that, a rescue dog.  Actually, it will probably be a rescue dog, no matter what, because Oreo was in a neglect situation when we got her.

We currently have an Aussie Shepherd.

Friendliest dog you could ask for, to family, friends and strangers alike.  Until you look to be threatening his family, and then the "Shepherd" part of his genes kicks in, and he'll tear into you like you were the Big Bad Wolf himself.

The pic isn't of our specific dog, just and innerwebz pic of one typical of the breed.  Ours is about 2-1/2 years old (he was a rescue, so we don't know his exact age) and has a lot more white in his coat with the ruddy brown markings.

OK! We really like people who adopt rescue dogs. My wife works at a local shelter and walks dogs about 3 times a week. We got our latest at the vet's, but he'd have gone to that center if no one else adopted him.

He's turned out to be a good buddy, but he loves to run and search for critters and birds. He tries to solve our mole problem, too! He got loose the other day, and we gave up looking for him, when BANG!  :panic: he came home trotting down our driveway! Amazing, since we only had him for a very short time. How did he know where his home was?

Once you feed em or show them some care they know where home is. :-)

BSS....I had Westies when the kids were young. Great dogs for little kids. They may be small, but mine weren't yippers and they had a fairly deep bark considering their size. My sister has Scotties and they are the same way.

I'd say its more about the dog's attitude over its appearance. Even the small fluffy ones, as long as they're not whining, needy, little lap dogs, nor pain in the ass little destructors are cool in my book. If they act like a cat, they're not a "man's dog". Except Chihuahuas. I hate them period. Little rats. No hair, hate everything, and shake like little bitches.

We have a beagle, but only because it's small enough to be a house/lap dog.  Of course she takes up 1/2 the bed when she sprawls out. Beagles also make good alarm dogs, not guard dogs, but good alarms, and they sound bigger than they are.
