Completely FORGOT about Earth Hour tonight. Bad Mr Mannn.

I went to the store. ALL the lights were on. all the house lights were on. all my lights were left on whilst I was gone. No one was turning off their lights in Des Moines that I could see.

It wasn't until I got back and perused the DUmpster that I realized I really hate the Earth.

Yes DUmmies. I do hate the Earth. I am its master, not the other way around. If this floating dirtball has feelings, it had better be one of subservience, or I'll kick it in the groin again.
Oh wait, Gaia is supposed to be a girl. Well its a Bitch Slap for you again, Gaia. and don't start getting all uppity. I have an aerosol spray and I'm not afraid to use it. Now I'm gonna nuke some popcorn, bitch. You better pray to whatever dirt clods pray to that I don't have a hamster to pop in there too.

So what didn't you do for the earth today. Don't tell me you were watching a (gasp) giant screen, energy eating, TV were you?

I left my car running in the driveway. Cranked up the heat and a/c. Didn't know whether it would be hot or cold so was just hedging my bets.

Never knew.  That's another benefit of not having TV I think. 

Some friends and I drove up into the foothills and ate at a restaurant that had the front doors open and a good fire going in the fireplace.  They must not have known about it either.

I was shooting about 960 pounds of explosives off for our nightly fireworks show during earf hour. 

I did leave the panel light off on my firing console as a concession to the sacred hour though.

DLR Pyro is an Earf-friendly example to us all.  Just think of all those poor plants that would go starving without him to replenish the CO2 in the atmosphere.  Why, without all that CO2, we wouldn't have healthy fields of corn to turn into single malt scotch whiskey, or deep, rich stands of trees just waiting to be turned into rifle stocks and baseball bats for crushing Earf-hating hippie skulls with. :-)

Shows power consumption in a general area that a particular ISO (Independent System Operator) is responsible for maintaining.

The other thread I posted right after this shows what a typical daily curve looks like.  Yesterday's consumption curves didn't look at all unusual, at least the ones I accessed.
