A shot of whiskey dunked into a mug of beer, that's it.  None of those pretty color drinks, them is faggy.  :-)

a shot of some good rum lite on fire and dropped into a mug of beer taste like Dr. Pepper.

nothing beats a straight shot of Jack Daniels though, taste just like Jack Daniels.

That's all from memory , haven't had a drop of alcohol in six yrs.

A shot of Jaegar dropped into a glass of Red Bull is acceptable.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

Let's see, the title of the OP is MAN LAW.  Not etiquette or time-of-day or what have you.  So:

Nothing sweet, ever.  This includes rum & coke.

Stay season-appropriate.  Whiskey in winter, gin-and-tonic in summer.

Straight shots aren't really grown-up.  It looks desperate to get drunk.  Now.

Martinis may pack a wallop, but the straight up ones in the pretty stemmed glasses are just so fem.  Have them on the rocks with olives.

P.S.  Rebel, that's the most dreadful thing I've ever heard of.

Perhaps it's referred to as "Man Law" for a reason  :cheersmate:

Whiskey is never out of season.  Straight shots are so you receive the pure undiluted product to truly savor & appreciate it.

I liked rum & Coke, preferably with Bacardi 151.

Whiskey and Coke, 7 & 7.  I would even drink a Bloody Mary now and then to settle my stomach on a day after.

Mostly it was just beer.

I have to retract that last statement. I did have a shot or so of Bailey's in a cup of coffee a couple months back.

That is just a rabbit drink, not a real mixed drink, since it contains no alcohol.

The only thing that should be mixed with good liquor in a glass is the occasional ice cube.  Chasers are for sissies and sweet drinks are for ladies.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Well just call me a sissy then...I like Crown and SPRITE with a twist of lemon.

I seldom drink so I guess I'm just not used to the really hard stuff.

Any and all whiskies, even Ca-nay-dee ah, are to be "on the rocks" or with water. My fav is JD single barrel.

Tequila (not Cuervo Gold/ preferrably a "silver") is to be shots, and shots only with lime, no juice. If you don't grimmace, ur doing it wrong.

Foo foo drinks are for your wife/gf, so she'll do the REALLY nasty.  :naughty:

Finally, learn to drink Scotch & water, and not that lowland shit.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
