I'd raise two points - one good , one bad,

1: The Kiwis have vastly better firearms legislation than we do - One can even get suppressors without getting a tax stamp and jumping through some hoops like y'all do over in the USA. If we'd adopt their system I'd be all in favour instantly.

2: We already have enough filthy sheep buggering kiwi dole bludgers here as it is. IF they became a state - we'd have to support a shitlot more of them. They're more of a welfare state then mainland AU.
