EL CAJON, Calif. — A 32-year-old woman from Iraq who was found severely beaten next to a threatening note saying "go back to your country" died on Saturday.

Hanif Mohebi, the director of the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said he met with Shaima Alawadi's family members in the morning and was told that she was taken off life support around 3 p.m.

"The family is in shock at the moment. They're still trying to deal with what happened," Mohebi said.

Alawadi, a mother of five, had been hospitalized since her 17-year-old daughter found her unconscious Wednesday in the family's house in El Cajon, police Lt. Steve Shakowski said.

I read this horrified until I got to the part that she was found in the family home.   Someone killed her and left a note next to the body telling her to go home??  Um, what?

Yeah, this doesn't sound right at all.

I think some Imam neglected to explain to her husband all about the "beat her lightly" thing in detail.

32 with a 17 year old daughter? Do the math. Probably been married and sexually active at her husband's behest since the age of 14? Sorry, not buying this. Nice to know Muslim men have moved on to manipulating the stupid hate crimes idiocy now to their benefit.  :thatsright:

Read the comments on that story. I swear liberals are such useful idiots. Not one of them noticed this young woman has been under her husband's rule since the age of 14 since she had her daughter at the age of 15 and that's assuming her daughter is the oldest. And considering this and the rash of honor killings in the muslim community, not one has considered that her family may have done it and be exploiting both US law and idiot liberals to their own benefits. What a bunch of fools. They'd lead us all into the slaughter if we don't get our country back on track.  :thatsright:
