What the... ??

I don't have any gay people in my family, nor in my circle of close friends.  There might be a few gays outside of my friends, but I really don't care one way or another.  Gay people have no affect on my life.

I have several gay friends. They're all conservative. They also all served, one a retired US Army CW3 and another a retired USAF MSgt. He's actually a staunch Republican.

My dearest friend in the world is gay. It's uncanny...I can tell when he's down and he can feel when I am. Can't imagine not having him in my life. I've known him since I was 18. He's very liberal but we just don't talk politics because there's so much more to our friendship. The only other gays I know are conservative.

My stepson is gay. I have just as much affection for him as I do any of my stepchildren. Through him I know a lot of other gays and lesbians, and another gay couple are two of my and my wife's closest friends. They've been there for us when many other people weren't.

I don't agree with the homosexual lifestyle. I think it's a sin. But many things are sins. If they are otherwise decent people, I adopt a live and let live attitude. Contrary to the belief of DUmmies, a person can hate the sin and love the sinner. There are elements of their political agenda I am dead set against, and some of their behaviors I find repulsive, but I've never "hated" any individual purely based on their homosexuality.

How can you look up a word and still misspell it?

I nominate that "screw" be replaced with Nadin.  As examples:

I really Nadined-up officer, I didn't realize I was speeding.

How can you be such a Nadin-up, all you have to do is follow the directions.

Be careful, this is a difficult procedure and you don't want to Nadin it up.
