Although my wife is now retired, she works part-time at the same hospital 2 days a week. A doctor she's known for YEARS told her that the medical group attached to the hospital has told him that he has too many patients. He already receives none of the calls from his patients. He's worked at this clinic and the hospital for over 40 years. They said they would decline to make any appointments for his patients until they are farmed out to other doctors.
He doesn't want to lose his pension, but he's getting to leave - with all of his patients - and go to an Advocate hospital, where he's interviewed and which will give him all the privileges he once had at the current hospital.
So who wins? Obamacare wins. His patients and the doctor all lose.
