1. The chances of Zimmerman being a Freeper are extremely low

According to FR, 300K have registered since it launched over 15 years ago. The number of current active posters is almost certainly a very small fraction of that.

Roughly 75 percent of the US population is over the age of 18. Approximately 40 percent of the adult population self-identifies as conservative. That means there are about 94 million people who would identify as conservatives (McCain got about 60 million votes in 2008).

Let's be extremely generous and say that 10K people post on FR (I'll bet it's way lower than that). If those numbers were true, it would mean that there 1 out of every 9,400 conservative American adults posts there. Even among just McCain voters, it would be 1 out of every 6,000.

And we don't even know anything about Zimmerman's politics.

It's mildly annoying that you think that thoughts off the top of your head are what makes 'accurate headlines.'
