What food product do you miss most that you used to buy in another town/region?

When I lived in Virginia, I used to buy a packaged lemon-dilly-onion dip mix. It came in a pretty little jar, to be mixed up with sour cream. I bought it at a little shop in Old Town Alexandria, a couple of blocks from King Street and the Potomac.

I often think of it fondly. Mmmm.

2. Inlagd sill. Swedish pickled herring. Used to be able to get it deli fresh right here n the Valley. Then it was only in the jars in Ikea. Now they don't even carry it and I can't be sure the online stuff is the right kind.

It has to be the right kind - with the allspice berries.

More evidence of the extreme degree of addleness suffered by poor, addled grasswipe Judy.

To get full DUmp cred points, your bouncy has to include the "e", e.g.,  "Olde Towne".

"Old Town" sounds like a slum full of 0bamaites.

"Olde Towne" is a gentrified neighborhood of old brick buildings, full of overpriced knick-knack shops and effeminate democrat guys with sweater arms tied over their shoulders.

Missing stuff that I used to get in CA would imply that 1--I miss CA, 2--I can't move beyond there and appreciate what my new (okay, not so new) home has to offer.

Aside from the fact there are ZERO Mexican restaurants worth a shit up here, I can't think of a thing--and I can make plenty of my own if I really want it that bad.

Then again, try getting lobster rolls or grey corned beef in CA.
