Breaking: God Smites Bush Wedding (not kidding)
Edited on Sat May-10-08 04:18 AM by Kittycat
Folks, you just can't make this up. As the news has so gleefully informed us with their vomitous fawning - Tomorrow is Ms. Jenna Bush's wedding. Well, it appears as though God isn't all too happy about the Bush's spoiling his weekend, and he's decided to let them know.

I picked up on this tidbit over at DK, and decided to expand on it for discussion's sake. Turns out that Crawford is experiencing thunderstorms tonight (see current radar pic).

But OH my oh my does it get better. After all the rain to make the ground extra muddy - he's decided that not only will their shoes, cuffs and dresses be ruined - but it's going to be a bad hair and make-up day all around... By giving them a taste of hell - while suited up in their party gear - the high temperature for tomorrow will be 97 degrees. Oh yes - mucho humidity. And God's final gift is the wedding pictures. To ensure the worst possible outcome, it's going to be cloudy the entire day.

I only wonder what God has in store for parting gifts? Locusts? Frogs? Oh PLEASE GOD let it be a plague. I'd settle for mad cow disease from the unregulated beef, or ecoli from their waste runoff in to the spinach salad.

ETA: link & post is  for those that don't get it.
This ones going to leave a mark

1. You know this is normal weather for Texas this time of year
 no godly intervention

And while you might have fun with the thought of it.

I personally find it disgusting....

This is not Bush's day, but Jenna's

My wedding day was nice and cold... and thankfully inside. I don't wish on other people

And the next poster wants the previous DUmmie to "lighten" up? Oh that's right I would expect nothing less from a DUmmie except to a nasty and vindictive a**hole.

6. Why should I lighten up?

Sorry if I find this the kind of low level celebrations that are common at that other site that shall not be named

I'm quite happy that with "chimpeachment" a no go, DU has to satisfy their terrible lust for disaster on the BFEE has to be quenched with with a humid wedding day for Jenna.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

My DUmmie GF (I like to use the short form) Proud2BAnIdiot is probably already happily fantacizing about what evils can possibly befall the innocent future progeny.

A wonderful piece of sh...humanity, she is.

God doesn't really sound too upset about the whole thing; normally, when he smites you, you know you've been smote, and that ain't it.

From what I learned from my brother years back - this is typical Texas weather.. Hot..Rainy..Humid.. lather, rinse, repeat.

So, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Texas is following a fairly typical pattern. And I'm sure the State's residents are used to it. No smiting by God. Sorry DUmbass.

from where I am sitting right now Prairie Chapel is approximately 30 miles NW. Today it was mostly cloudy(no Rain), High Temp was 94 degrees with about 12 mph winds from the south. Over all not a bad day at all for this time of year in Central Texas. Humidity is currently shooting up as the sun goes down but soon after sunset that to will go down.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
