The idea that if there is extraterrestrial life out there it must be peaceful is about as laughable as it can be.  Sort of like the myth of the peaceful, noble, savage.

Y'know the thing that gets me about all of these "disclosure" alien people is A) they have no idea what values hypothetical aliens coming to this planet would see as desirable and B) if these alleged aliens wanted to be known, they would be known.

For all they know, the alleged aliens are working with the BFEE/Federal Reserve/Builder Burgers/Jewish Bankers/whatever whatevers to destroy us all.

While they laugh at Christian faith, they themselves are operating from a position of faith, worse than faith, wistful thinking.

Exactly -

If there is intelligent advanced life out there someplace - the less they know about Earth, the better. Statistically speaking, there probably is. Scientifically speaking, 'getting from there to here' is nigh impossible. Deep space is full of radiation and particles that complex organisms are unlikely to survive. So Steve, don't sweat it.
