Do you think there will come a time when the first amendment will be repealed and they'll declare a state religion, turning this into a theocracy? I'm really surprised someone hasn't tried to do this already, to be honest. Oklahoma wants to so terribly bad it hurts that they can't.

Hey dumbass the repukes had The House, The Senate, and the White House from 2001 until 2007, and the White House until 2009.
During those 6 years did anyone try to repeal the first amendment or try to set up a state religion?

Once again the DUmmies are projecting onto the right what they would like to do.  They would like nothing more than to repeal the first and second amendments to the US Constitution.  Obama has done more damage to the Constitution than any other president.

I want to be there when this asshat discovers that there were state religions in most of the individual states at the time that the First Amendment was ratified.  Not to mention that those same state religions were not instantly dissolved at the moment the First Amendment was ratified.

I really want to watch his widdle head implode over that one.

Yet we were no closer to becoming a "theocracy" then as we are now. In fact, the opposite is quite true. We are farther away from God now as a country than we ever have been in history. DUmmies will never be happy unless the very mention of God in public is outlawed, and Christians are forced to meet secretly in caves, communicating by drawing symbols on the ground with sticks lest they be overheard, arrested and thrown to the lions. When a simple, "God bless you" from a stranger is equated with an act of physical violence, the ubiquitous phrase "shoving it down my throat" being a popular rhetorical device at DU, it really tells you where they're coming from.
