In case you thought Limbaugh was toning it down...

Last edited Wed Mar 14, 2012, 09:40 AM USA/ET - Edit history (3)

After 100+ advertisers bailed on Rush, and after he was forced to apologize for calling Fluke
a "slut" and a "prostitute" you would think that Limbaugh would tone it down--or at least move
on from his misogynistic, ignorant comments and behavior.

He took Monday off. I thought for sure, we would hear a toned-down Limbaugh for the rest of the week. After all, when
you cause a national uproar by calling a woman a "slut" and a "prostitute"--it just might be wise to, at the very least--refrain from insulting women. Right?

Oh no. Not Rush.

I tuned in yesterday and he was making fun of the NOW (National Organization of Women) organization. He
did a long segment on NOW and one of their meetings. He kept referring to the organization as "NAG". As
Rush said, "We affectionally refer to this organization as NAG--the national organization of gals". He kept
referring to the members of NOW as "nags" and "gals".

The President of NOW spoke about Rush's comments, and Rush played a few sound bytes and said that the "NAG
gang thinks my comments were funny." He kept going on and on about how they loved his comments. He also
said that Obama's approval ratings among women went down after Rush made these comments. Therefore, Rush
deduced that this was a losing issue for Democrats--who were being hurt by this issue--not Rush.

I wanted to jump into my car radio and scream, "Yeah, Rush--Your comments were so disgusting and so vile against
women, that women of all political and socioeconomic stripes were disgusted with politics in general. YOU RUSH,
turned all women off to all politicians--that's how revolting, disgusting, pathetic and vile you and your words are!"

Ninety-eight percent of all Catholic women use birth control. Most women use birth control at some point in their lives. Rush was not only calling Fluke these names--he was calling ALL women these names--and frankly, the Democrats have not done enough to call out Rush for the disgusting, misogynistic creep that he is. The fact that Rush can make these comments and continue to have a national radio program--turns off the vast majority of women to the entire political world.

So, in case you were wondering if Rush just might have one shred of decency, self respect or common sense--he doesn't. Most people would be willing to at least *hide* or tamp down their vile, unpopular attitudes--in order to save their careers and their lifework that they've spent two decades cultivating. Not Rush. Disparaging women and belittling them is more more important to Rush than his career or his reputation.

Poor DUmmies really thought that this would neuter Rush. The reality is, he is going to push your buttons harder and harder, and I am going to laugh my ass off at you goons.

2. I know Rush, I see he did not disappoint.

In my present feverish condition though, it's a good idea not to listen to him for even five seconds.

But I have listened to him, first out of nterest. (people listen to this crap?)

Then as part of a media class.

Then once a year or so...words might change, targets might change, but rush is rush.

Add Limbaugh expert to the ever growing resume.  :rotf:

25. I think his legions of followers tune in to hear the hate and get themselves

self-righteously riled up.

I've observed in myself, that when I disparage another person (even just "I can't believe she's wearing those shoes with that dress" type of thing) it's just to make myself feel better about myself. I'm better than her because I'd know not to wear those shoes. Helping ease my insecurities. I think that's what they get from him -- validation they're not alone and they're smarter than everyone who doesn't see the Truth.

Although, my pop psychology fails when it comes to my shredding Republicans. I really don't need validation that I'm right and they're wrong (I honestly believe that), so I'm not sure what I get from it.

But you're right, that's all he has to offer -- or is the key to his success. I think if he saw the light he'd lose listeners in droves.

Funny, I never get all riled up when I listen to Rush, 5 seconds of the hate spewing from Ed Schultz on the other hand makes me want to hurt a DUmmy.

The heck? That is "NOG". Dumb, du dumb dumb.
Substitute Organization with Association, then I can give him that.

Guy doesn't think about what he says regardless.

NAG is the national association of gals, he screwed up when he said organization, the NAG gag is as old as his show is.

24. Thanks, Rush for uniting all Dems and Women against YOU (i.e. the Repub Party)

You will drag them all down with you, as you have been trying to do for decades. Thank goodness.

Did you not pay attention to all the women voters in the GOP primaries? You morons actually think that non liberal women will change their views all of a sudden.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I love how the libs trot out the statistic that 98% of all catholic women use birth control.
Not only is it an issue bait and switch over freedom of religion, it's an invalid statistic.
It would be like coming up with a statistic that would quantify what percentage of catholics are sinners.
It would put popularity as the judge of morality, which any logical person can see is unworkable.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

NAGS, HAGS and FAGS for Obama.

Now that's a winning campaign slogan.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I suspect her bedroom temperture would be more like 39K..... :-)

Well one thing for sure, BO has a lock on the Southern White Toothless Trailer Trash Vote now that ace comedian Bill Maher is  dialed in on Twitter.

HBO's Bill Maher on Tuesday took a disgusting cheap shot at Alabama and Mississippi voters.

With all eyes on Republican primaries in those states, Maher sent a message via Twitter saying, "Toothless Tuesday too tight to tally!"

So does Nadin have consumption or not?

Well, from her pictures, I'd say she's done her share of consuming.

I'm worried about Nadin. I hope she didn't put tap water in her Netti Pot and contract a deadly amoeba. I'm not sure if she has a mad hat for that.

Y'know, this is really the first time the NAGs have been in the news for years and years. I hope they send Rush a nice "thank you" on lavender stationary.

You know, she always talks about how that shithole south of the border is superior to the United States in nearly every way, so I wonder if she drinks the tap water when she visits the shithole.

Once I was down there and at bedtime discovered I'd run out of bottled water. I was in a really fancy hotel that had signs all over about how they "purified" the water for your protection.

I brushed my teeth with beer.

After Rush had 1,000,000,000 sponsors drop him, I still listen.  I heard the NAG comments and laughed.  I'm a woman.  It doesn't hurt my feelings or make me think there is a war on women.  It's just true.  Liberal women only know how to nag and walk around with a scowl on their face.  Just look at Michelle Obama.
