So far, we haven't heard Socialist Steve Dawes discuss his position on how to best preserve, defend, and expand the Second Amendment.

Does he support the usual democrat nonsense of "common sense gun control"?

Or does he support the more common socialist position of confiscation?

Would Bellevue voters prefer a city ordinance requiring firearms licensing and registration, or outright confiscation?

Surely, Steve Dawes prefers one of the other. Why won't he reveal his position?

All he wants to talk about is some ratty old theater in Omaha.

Bellevue has never had any ordinance to make anyone licence or register thier guns that I know of. So getting anyone in that town to vote and get it passed is not likely to happen. Omaha on the other hand does require its residents to register their guns unlike the State that has no such requirement.

Bellevue has never had any ordinance to make anyone licence or register thier guns that I know of. So getting anyone in that town to vote and get it passed is not likely to happen. Omaha on the other hand does require its residents to register their guns unlike the State that has no such requirement.

Well, Omaha has nearly an exact split between Republican and democrat registrations, but when you count "independents" (democrats who are ashamed of what they really are), the place is a blue hellhole with over 60% anti-American voters.

So their firearms ordinance, requiring registration of "concealable" weapons, isn't such a surprise.

The state recently made some small improvement by forbidding cities to require concealed-carry permit holders to register.

The rest of the ordinance, which is apparently very old, could probably be abolished by a court challenge.

Socialist Steve Dawes, though is running in Bellevue, in civilized Sarpy County, not the Douglas County cesspool.

All he wants to do is talk about Omaha, the place most Bellevue residents fled.

In addition to being a socialist, Steve Dawes is awfully damn stupid.

I think that is correct - he can't delete DU, nor can he delete all the other places his posts have gone ( archive.org for example ) so it seems he is trying to obfuscate his past posts by burying them in boring tripe.

It's safe to say it isn't going to work. OS has tied himself fairly tightly to Socialism with his own words.

I'm sure the self avowed socialist from Bellvue, Nebraska, is attempting to cover his tracks.
Whether our honest efforts to point out his socialistic leanings would have an influence, I don't know.

That happens everywhere! we have people moving from crime ridden blue counties to the nice red counties, but they still vote for Democrats, it's such hypocrisy, if you believe so much in Democrats then why flee the counties they control? It's like Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, do they live in the blue counties? no, they live in Red Monmouth County. Same thing with people leaving NY/NJ because of high taxes and the cost of living, they end up moving to red states but they still vote Democrat. They never put 2 and 2 together.

I just nadined steve dawes bellevue and steven dawes bellevue. The first four hits were on his website, followed by DU and his MyLife page. All of the CC pages were under one header on the first page, Socialist Steve Dawes Campaigns For Homo Huskers. His sanitizing posts at DU are not showing up on the front page of Google.

I don't think we'll have any trouble keeping OS in the public eye.
