Darn I ran as fast as I could but tripped over the dog.
Garters oh my lord, those things were invented by a gay man that hates woman.  I do not understand how my mother could work sitting down on those instruments of torture, or on a wood Pew in church for an hour.

The inventor of Pantie Hose is my hero, had to be a woman.   Yes I have worn a garter belt a time or two in my life, with the constant checking to insure my seams were not crooked and the pain of sitting on them.  Anyone remember wearing a slip and someone telling you your slip was showing?????  Cryolin starched slips in the 50's to make a skirt balloon out, darn just one I remember and I had to wear a slip under it as the material was so darn stiff, gave me a rash.

It is no wonder that during WW2 when woman had to pay an arm and a leg to get silk stockings they found a way to mix iodine and something else and painted their legs, as we do today with self tanning spray. Some woman would even take a pen and draw a line down the back of their leg to look like a seam. [information from my Mom.]

There are times I am so glad the pantie Hose came out before I was old enough to wear garters or corsets, I found some whale bone stays among my great grandmothers effects. Never wore a corset or tummy restraint as by that time I was a teen the Doctors advised against using them in youth as the stomach mussels would become dependent on being held in and loose their ability to tighten up naturally.  Must be the same reason why when I had my first baby the tummy bands were no longer used on infants.  all my kids have innies for belly buttons so guess that fad was of no use.

Ann Launders once said to know if you need a bra place a pencil under the Brest, if it falls down, you don't need one YET.

Now anyone male or female wear a thong ????  If so are they comfortable, tried one once and felt like I was getting a constent weggie-----too small perhaps????

Vesta, you brighten my day.  You really do.
