HockeyMom This BC is all about OBAMA ordering it, from my REPUKE husbandMy Repuke, Fox watching, husband. GOVERNMENT is ordering churches to pay for this. OBAMA is ORDERING religious people to go against against RELIGION and make them pay for contraception. It is all about OBAMA!!!!!! The man NEVER sets foot in a church except for weddings and funerals. He had NO TROUBLE at all when the pharmecutical company I worked for gave me FREE BC pills. He had no trouble at all when the private companies he worked for paid for my contraception, or HIS VASECTOMEY. Now, 35 years later he is OUTRAGED? Why? Government/OBAMA ORDERING it. It's POLITICS, not RELIGION. He is going to get a FIGHT on this one, from his WIFE, and his DAUGHTERS, including his LESBIAN daughter who doesn't even need it for birth control, but understands this is an attack on WOMEN.

I fought this fight YEARS before she or her sister were born. I am STILL fighting for her lesbian sister to have HER civil rights. Now I have to fight too for my straight daughter and all her straight sisters for their rights? How many times do I have to fight this, ALL ALONE. I will fight, but I want SUPPORT. My dear daughter, just being a straight, MARRIED, female doesn't mean that they will leave YOU alone. Don't dismiss what I fought so hard for you to attain when I was a young woman myself. They WILL discriminate against YOU just as much as your gay sister. You are both FEMALE and that alone will be enough for the sexist, religious MEN to make you too a second class citizen. Sorry, if I am starting too many threads on this lately, but I am a mother and they are attacking BOTH my children.

enough8. This is so interesting, HockeyMom.I have two adult daughters who are living two very different lives, and I am constantly amazed by how each of them understands some things and not others. I'm wondering, do you think with your married daughter, she doesn't get it because she is in fact "under the protection" of a man, and in this still-patriarchal society we live in that protection is actually working for her, at least for now? Thank you so much for talking about this.
