Me neither. Testifying before Congress about sexuality is rather sluty. I would think that Congress has more important things to do than listen to someone that is complaining about how much it cost for birth control pills. However, most of these critters whore themselves out on a regular basis

I imagine that Rush figured that the media was going to hound every republican candidate/officeholder asking them to denounce him from now until election day.  When will they start talking about Obama?  I can't wait for Breitbart's Obama videos.

While I think the apology wasn't necessary, apparently Rush's advertisers were displeased to some level. Nothing talks like money. So Rush did what he had to do.

It's pretty apparent that Fluke is not much more than yet another activist with a cross to bear. She'll grow up one day to be a lobbyist and fit right in the shithole known as D.C.  :whatever:

I don't think he should have apologized, and I think his show could use a few less advertisers anyway.  I do enjoy his take on politics but seems like there's almost as much air time devoted to selling stuff as there is to Rush talking.  

The only apology he should have issued should've been along the lines of I regret if any of you were offended by my referring to Ms. Fluke as a slut, when she's clearly so much more than that :-)

However, I'm still a Rush fan, as probably all of us who listen to him remain.

WTF-----This apology shit is nuts. When does an apology free anyone from their actions and when did an apology have any meaning behind it.

We see it ever day in a court trial where a found guilty person does not apologies to the family for rape and murder. 
Seems an apology is more important then the act of murder. 

Why is an apology necessary to the victims, does this make their loss any less.?? Does an apology change things in any way except for the no do gooder.?   Damn they said they were sorry they killed a child and they did apologise.

Damn Obama had the nerve to apologise for a military action that destroyed books of the enemy.  He sided with our enemy, WTF.

Do we now apologise to the Indian nations for usurping land they claimed as their own???  A sincere apology would be to give Manhattan back to the Indians for $25.00 worth of beads.

 Then charge them for the improvements made to their land.    We apologise to them and give them back their land but charge them 200 billion in improvements.   

Rush had no reason to apologise for calling things as he saw them, his right to speak out in America.

Obama had no reason to apologise for  destroying papers and books used to undermine our country's security.

Put Obama in the seat of FDR , did he, FDR  apologise for any steps we took to defend ourselves.   Did Truman ever weep and wail over dropping the bomb????

This apology stuff is nuts, I will not apologise to the family of a serial killer I shot in my home, what good does it do for me for them to apologise for the actions of a family member.  How about me, should I have allowed someone to kill my family and then feel sorry and apologise for my actions???

Rush has sold us out for money and carear to bend to advertisers demands.

Same as that talk show Host that got Oprah in a snit by calling some girls Nappy haired.   Oprah's productions was named Nappy Haired Productions, but this Host was a white man, how dare he use a term only blacks could use.

The old "Say I am sorry I hurt your feelings"   Said something mean or slept with someones husband or stole your car.   You are mean to not forgive me, I apologises, my consciences is now clear and now you HAVE to forgive me or you are the bad person.

Shit, my respect for Rush has hit bottom, he is no different then Obama, rule in life for respect, never explain or apologise.   Walk the walk and talk the talk at your own risk, an apology from others is not worth the paper it is not written on. 

Sorry Rush gave in and gave up his right to speak out as an American.  Like it or not, he has the right so far to voice his openions same as the REV. WRIGHT, we may not like the openion but this is America , to apologise is to admit a mistake, so when is speaking ones mind a mistake unless one is missinformed??

If this was about money like the left is saying it is Rush would have gotten more if they fired him then if he apologized after losing advertisers. All he did was put this out  just to show them that he is better then they are and to keep this from going further. The fact is Fluke is/was a plant and that no one should have to pay for her so called activities. The left has tried to take Rush and others off the air for yeas and I wouldn't doubt for a minute that this was their idea of getting him or someone else to do just what Rush did only to use it against them.
